Ive bought a stove here and had the guys work on my dryer before, Ive even donated a refrigerator and a washer/ dryer combo here. Ive been extremely satisfied with their work until recently. I had an issue with my dryer and I brought it in to have them check it out. It turns out I had a bad power output. They charge a $40 bench fee on broken appliances, and I get it, its a non-refundable thing. Considering the guy only plugged it in to see it it would turn on, I asked for my $40 back so I could use that money towards an electrician instead. He got really flustered and flat out said "NO! You should have called an electrician first". I didnt get mad or cause a scene, like I said, I understand that its non-refundable, but doesnt hurt to ask. Ive done a lot of business here over the past couple of years and Im a strong believer in keeping my money local. I think its kind of crappy that they would rather have $40 than help out a loyal customer. I dont have a whole lot of money to spend on inconveniences like having your dryer break on laundry day. I give this store a 2 star because their work is awesome, but I think atmosphere and customer service should coincide with that. Maybe next time I will call an electrician before these guys.

I received absolutely incredible service from this family run business! We needed an inexpensive washer and dryer in our new home we are renting. I called them on a Saturday and arrived 15 min before closing. They stayed late to work within my budget, delivered on Monday morning (and called me first to confirm delivery time) and even installed both appliances for a ridiculously reasonable cost. In fact, when the outlet for the dryer was incorrect, he switched out the plug for me on the spot to make it work for free. All their appliances come with a 90 day guarantee, and so far I have had no problems at all! I would buy other appliances from them without hesitation- this is the way small business should be run!

I had broken my ice/water in the door dispenser actuator arm one morning filling my coffee pot on my Frididaire. Being a new Mom, home for maternity leave, timing was of importance. The service man from Family Appliance was able to come out for service before lunch and nap time that afternoon! He fixed the actuator arm and the let me know he had a NEW filter cartridge that would fit it as well. With a newborn in the house I had not had a chance to go get one so this was a great convenience when time was limited and my focus was on the new baby boy!

I used Dunedin Family Appliance years ago and they are still a great family owned biz. My daughter and I have bought things here and they always stand by their appliances. Kenny came out and explained everything about the stackable w/d that I mistakenly bought on Craigslist because DFA didnt have one. Ended up only needing the drain pump to be cleaned out.

I am a do it yourself guy, an auto technician for 30 years, I can fix anything.But, refridgerators are not something I tackled before. This family business was very helpful, he could have sold me a new fridge, but sold me a 50 dollar part and saved me hundreds of dollars. Cant say how pleased I was to have Kenny come over and fix our ailing Samsung refrigerator. Fair pricing, super courteous and friendly. I was told buy sears that my refrigerator had a bad compressor and it would cost $400-500 to repair it ,, i got a second est and family appliance fixed it for less than $100 i am so happy with there prompt ness and well experience techs.. thanks again family appliance, you guys are great and all in the family....... stephen b
