... after reading the reviews, I decided to add my own. We can surely post something negative- but to take time for positivity posting seems like too much effort. Ive ordered from HFS for the past 4-5 years. ...my mothers birthday and occasional anniversary. Initially, first order they called to okay the substitute. Second time, ordered something different- substitute again. Third time ordering, I ordered same as first time ordering, to see if any subs...... lol Im in CA ordering for my mom in TX... my moms bday is Dec 15... no calls for subbing out flowers!!!! Lol. .. I arrive from CA at Christmas. ...... "subbed flowers"... ITS TOTALLY OKAY! Heres why, Ive been ordering from this company for some time.... they never have NOT delivered, they never have NOT had beautiful arrangements that my recipient enjoyed and appreciated, they usually call if a sub is needed- THE ARRANGEMENTstill comes out beautiful!... I get it- you want what you pay for and ordered. My point- Im across the nation and I need an arrangement "something" like the pics shown on your website .. what can you get done for me? And The Humble Flower Shop hasnt failed me yet!

I ordered the Cupids Creation with Red Roses and got the Premium package. First of all it was for my wifes birthday, they delivered one day to early, second issue is the flowers I ordered online wasnt what they sent, remember I ordered the Premium it should have came with 9 Red Roses 9 Pick Roses and 9 White roses, it was sent to me with 6 Red roses 3 was brown, 3 pink roses and no white roses and no grass garnish, worst set up I have ever seen. When I called about my problem Helen (owner) at first was really defensive and said the vase wasnt big enough for everything and then admitted to taking out the white roses for another order. She didnt call me or email me about the change that I paid $116 for. The design of the setup is the worst I have ever seen. I would stay away from this place, she did credit me back what she owed me and took the flowers back. This was bad customer service.

I ordered a spray for friends funeral,on-line, on a Sunday, which I specifically picked because of the colors and flowers. I called the shop on Monday morning to confirm that they had received the order and special instructions in case they had to swap out any of the flowers. The young lady on the phone said there should be no issue because they had received a shipment of flowers that morning and it had all the flowers needed for that arrangement. So I see the arrangement at the wake and it looks nothing like the picture, it doesnt have the lilies in it as shown and it is so bare compared to all the other sprays that were there. I was mortified. So I called the shop the following morning before the funeral and left a message with the young lady for the shop owner to call me back. It has been 3 days and the owner has yet to call me.

I ordered flowers for Mothers Day for my MIL. I ordered the Love and Laughter bouquet, which is a lavender vase, light purple bow, and all pink and purple flowers--roses, daisies, and carnations with small yellow flowers and other things interspersed. The picture shows a very full and cheerful bouquet. What got delivered was NOTHING close. I realize they say the customer is agreeing to a comparable substitute, but this was not comparable at all. They delivered a clear vase with such a dark purple bow it looked black in the picture. There was more greenery than anything. It was almost depressing looking because it was dark rather than the cheerful bouquet pictured online. I specifically ordered from a local florist hoping to avoid a sorry product.

I ordered flowers for my partner, when they arrived, they didnt look like the pictures and looked way to small compared to the pics, I called them and she said well I am way to busy to call you but I put different flowers in there and I dont carry the vase in the pic. I told her I would like them picked up and refund my money since you cant deliver what I ordered and I was not called and I also said no substitutes . the woman said I will send someone to pick them up very rudely and then slammed the phone down and I was very upset by the attitude that she gave me. was definately never order from this place, very hateful and rude employees. I have sent in pics for reveiw, the pretty one is the one I ordered and the ugly ones are what I received.

I ordered one plant to be sent to my sister-in-law after her father died, and they sent another. Though they did refund my money (I did NOT want my family disturbed by an "exchange"), the conversation when I called to complain left me MORE unhappy than the wrong plant did. The fellow was defensive, "offended," interrupted me, and asked me to repeat myself twice. He even admitted, "what did you say, I was not listening." My father died also, almost exactly three years ago. So thanks to this florist response to my complaint, a painful experience was made even more painful. Better learn how to at least FAKE listening if you work with the public.

I went in, not expecting much (especially after seeing the front of the store), but after going to the back where all the work is done, changed my mind. She seemed to come alive with excitement as we discussed flowers --she was so enthusiastic knowledgeable about her work. She was very helpful, offered several suggestions, and the price was very appropriate. The owner grew up locally in Humble (Moonshine Hill), and has been working with flowers since 1954.

I live out of state and was searching the web for a florist in Humble to send funeral flowers. I read the reviews and gave it a try. Carrie was so helpful in assisting me with my order. She even sent a photo of the flowers. I couldnt have been more pleased. They were beautiful!! Thank you Carrie!,

Called them to deliver flowers to my wife for her birthday while I was on the road. Despite living outside of the delivery area, they handled it like a pro. Wife loves the arrangement! Would gladly use them again and will recommend them to anyone needing flowers.

The flowers I sent from this place were not delivered as pictured. They also will not remove me from their e-mail list. They send an email each day. I have called and emailed to be removed. They dont answer their phone and they dont respond to my emails.

I was having problems with Telaflora, but Helen went above and beyond to make sure my wife was happy. They have exellent customer service. From now on I will be going directly to Helen for any of my flower needs. Highly recommended!

Went in they day of prom expecting them to refuse to make both the corsage and boutonniere, but to my suprise they agreed and finished in a matter of hours. Sure to come back again.
