This is my neighborhood store and I shop here frequently. I went in this morning at 7.20 to get shopping done early as I had my own and supplies for a breakfast for seniors I cook once a month..probably about 150.00 worth of groceries. The produce dept was wiped out..I kept going thinking I could come back and get the few things they did not have. As I continued on picking thru what there was I started wondering why open your doors if one of your major depts is decimated? OK..it takes time to restock, its early etc etc but there was a lot of laughing and talking going on..OK, happy employees but still..its my time, I need to get this done. I decided NO, I dont have time to discover another 10 min in they are out elsewhere in the store. I told a guy, produce guy? Im leaving my cart, too many outs, sorry, so they could put it away, I was even voiced, polite and I got a snarky "have a nice day" 3x in diffferent forms. We all know thats code for other words they wont say to a shopper. Really? Guess I go to the other local grocery stores or stop across town while Im out later. You are not the only game in my area and grocery stores are in trouble and guess what...you probably just lost a shopper who does not pinch pennies...ohhh..HAVE A NICE DAY!

Best prices for overall groceries around but not the biggest selection. Lots of products geared towards Hispanics. Love their produce prices and selection.. just have to pick through it a bit more to find an apple that isnt bruised than you would at somewhere like Bel Air down the street, but $0.89 beats $2.99/lb any day. I enjoy their rotisserie chickens and various items from the bakery like pies and doughnuts. This store is not in the best area and the parking lot can be sketchy at times. Avoid going around the 1st of the month when its way overcrowded with EBT users and lines stretch for days. Also by the end of the night things are wiped off the shelves pretty good so go in the afternoon or earlier for a nice clean stocked store. Checkers are for the most part nice and friendly, only the occasional kid throwing my chips around. Overall I shop here first for the best prices on what I can find and then Ill do supplemental shopping at WalMart for what i couldnt find at FoodMaxx.

I hardly come here unless they have specials on rockstars or jimmy dean products but usually Im in and out within 15 minutes due to the long lines. I try to come early morning or late night but today I came at the busiest time and ordered a half sheet cake with my personal photo I brought if of Disney Moana for only $25.99 best deal compared to bel air raleys Safeway and foods I!! Chase who works bakery went above and beyond to make our dream cake come thru for our 5 year old birthday!!!

In terms of competitive pricing, no grocery store in Natomas (and possibly all of Sacramento) compares to FoodMaxx. They either match or beat competitors pricing on the vast majority of their items, to the point where you begin to wonder how they break even, and why other stores charge so much. The only drawback to shopping here is that they have a more limited selection than some of the other supermarkets in the area. Regardless, this is a great place to shop if youre on a budget.

Foodmaxx has good prices and great specials. They carry Choasuan coconut milk and coconut cream which is the best Ive found and inexpensive. I cook from scratch most of the time because, at 68 years old, I eat a ketogenic diet and do a lot of exercise (read my book, The Mount Olympus Lifestyle lol) and I avoid the high-carb rubbish. So Im buying fresh meat, and they also carry New Zealand lamb for less than $8 a pound. Foodmaxx are second only to Winco in my ratings.

This store is lame. If u saw it when it was Albertsons, or save mart. U would agree. They dont have many choices for healthy food. The floor is cement.. its like walking into a warehouse that charges u real grocery store pricing yet gives u a crummy shopping experience. I do not shop here anymore and I live 2 blocks away. Id rather drive 3 or so miles to the Bel-Air off arena. Thats altleast a nice clean store with healthier choices of food

I like Food Max. The employees have all been working there for quite some time. This supermarket gets super busy betreen five & seven pm. The lines are long and still they smile & joke with you. The prices are okay. Youll always find things you need on sale. The one thing that can be improved is the carts. There are too few & some are old and can use some repairs.

The area is kinda crummy, buts its also the nearest grocery store to home, so cant complain too much. Parking lot is okay, but have seen several accidents. Produce is always fresh and reasonably priced. Can also get some items here at better prices than other stores, like bags cereal or two-pound blocks of cheese cheaper than at Walmart! Yes, its true.

They have such great prices, but they are way too busy all the time! I hope you would stand in line but Im disabled and in pain all the time. There are no grocery stores in Del Paso Heights, so they get super busy. I I would give them 3 1/2 but theres no way to do it here. If lines dont bug you, get in line, youll love the prices!

This is a decent place to go if you have to go get some food at a local neighborhood grocery store between Bel Air and Walmart this may be the choice. They sell some of the best rotisserie chickens for $5.99, this beats grabbing a pizza any day of the week the rotisserie all day everyday before 6 p.m.

not the best neighborhood, but great food prices. rows are large and easy to navigate. staff was nice but was a tad confused over the price of my turkey. that took a while to figure out. my whole bill came out to under $50 which would easily be $80-$100 at Target or Safeway.

I once saw a man slowly roll his cart full of unpaid for food right out the front door & unload it all into his car while the "security" officer following him, called for assistance in vain. Keep that image with you & your wallet close when you shop here.

One of the grocery stores I go to..... I do have to say you want to make sure that you watch the expiration dates on the food that you purchased from here because sometimes they can be within close proximity of the day that its expected to expire..

Ive been here a few times. It was always packed. The prices seemed a little on the high side. In comparison it seem as though I saved more at Food Co, which isnt to far down the street! It doesnt seem to much of a selection on fresh veggies.
