The Grocery Outlet is a very nice budget grocery store. I go here on occasion to pick up a few staples. Keep in mind that with a budget grocer, you are not going to get the 10,000 products that some other stores may offer. Its limited, but the prices are all reasonable. On a side note, they also have a nice wine and beer assortment. They also have a unique assortment of stuff you may not see in other grocery stores. The plus side to that -- you get to try something new, and you get to do it on the cheap. Regarding produce, when theyre in season, the strawberries are local and inexpensive (far cheaper than any other grocer Ive visited).

Really helpful staff, and always well maintained, which is saying something for a grocery outlet. Prices are great. Its like the Ross for food; always different, usually cheap. Gotten some really nice food here for next to nothing.
