Just had to run in and get some bagels and cream cheese. Saved $1.00 on the cream cheese and saved $2.20 on the bagels! Love, love, love, the closing crew at the El Paseo de Saratoga Lucky Store. They are all about customer service at this location. They are courteous, kind, helpful, professional and respectul of the customer. More importantly (in my opinion) they are respectful of the food I purchase - it shows in how they bag my groceries. It is also a nice shopping experience, and I love how they make sure I am safely on my way, how they welcome me to the store, and how they remind me to come back soon - its classy. Old school courtesy will always be classy.

There are 3 supermarkets in this small little half mile area. PW, Safeway, and Lucky. PW is great if you have a bit more cash to spend on quality meat/seafood. Safe is sketchy and kinda dingy. Lucky hits the mark with great deals and being amazingly clean. This supermarket is also bigger than the PW and Safeway. The employees are always happy to help and they dont seem disgruntled at all (cant say the same about some safeway employees). This store is also open late. Ive gone as late as 11pm on weekdays.

Under staffed, I guess because of low foot traffic. They do have 4 self checkout kiosks I think, but somehow Android Pay does not work on these, you have to go to the regular chashier line if you want to use it. Also, same to buy alcohol. It took them 15 minutes to resolve a price dispute with a shopper in front of me, still they did not open a new cash register. Only one cash register was open around 8pm on Friday and there were 3 more shoppers in the entire store besides me.

I actually only come here when the lines are too long at Sprouts across the intersection. This place is well stocked with the basics, clean, and nicely laid out. I wouldn’t say the prices are competitive across the board. Every time I go to the deli section it seems like they’re hosing the place down before 7pm, which is way early.

I went the weekend before Halloween and in costume. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in my obviously panicked state of picking up last minute party items. They were very playful and all around had a good persona to them. Keep up the good work!

I love the staff here they are always so very friendly and funny! If i ever have a question they always are responsive and polite. The butcher department too so helpful all the time! This is my favorite grocery store!

Always friendly and helpful. If I need assistance finding something, which for me is rare, they gladly assist. I highly reccommend this location for your late nights and holidays. Best location for Thanksgiving!

I pay the convenience tax at this Lucky if I want a quiet shopping experience. They generally have most everything I need... Unless Im looking for some exotic ingredient. Then Im off to whole foods.
