This is the best Salvation Army Thrift Store I have ever seen and Im an avid thrift shopper. Well organized, very friendly and helpful staff. Chris and Becky and the other staff members always offer a friendly greeting and ask if I need assistance. Good quality merchandise, although sometimes a bit over-priced for second hand. I dont understand why they changed their policy and set their senior discount age so high though. Goodwill and all the other thrifts set the senior discount age at 55.

20 minutes prior to closing (at 6:40), they appointed staff to man the door, locking it to discourage shoppers, despite a posted closing time of 7pm. Having run retail business in the past, this is certainly no way to treat potential customers, nor is it an appropriate use of man-hours. Nothing tells the customer more that their business is unappreciated. If this is truly a training ground to help people back on their feet, then they are sorely failing at teaching customer service.

Tried to buy an item that the price had fallen off. They would not sell at any price, despite similar items properly marked stood on floor. Told me the item would be discarded. I offered pay/donate and they refused (this was not an expensive item but the only one in the store that fit my son). The staff were not at all helpful and bordered on rude. The last time I checked, this is a charity shop. And you refuse money? Ridiculous.

The store located off of York Road next to Ace Hardware is an excellent place to stop shop for any used items. One of the largest thrift stores Ive been in, they have a wider range of kids womens and mens clothes. Every Wednesday and Friday all clothing is 50% off and bric-a-brac $24.99 or below is half price. Excellent Furniture selection and a great place to furnish home or apartment.

Prices are outrageous!!!! Definitely needs new management because they have no idea whats going on. Prices are higher than the actual retail cost. Poor quality clothing with holes and stains. Like your own employee told me " How can they ask $1000.00 for something that was donated? I need to find a new job." I will NEVER shop there again.

This particular store has THE best furniture , antiques, vintage goods and household items of any similar type store. I generally dont buy clothing, but many do and it looks really nice. Not only are the items too- notch, but so are the wonderful people who run and manage it!
