Newtown Hardware - The Best Hardware Store. This place is what I consider to be the perfect hardware store. They carry what seems like a million different items, and yet the place is perfectly organized and neat. Everything is in its place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices on items Ive purchased are suprisingly low. This store is incredibly well managed. Next time youre headed to Home Depot or Lowes, do yourself a favor and stop in here first. Just browsing around is a pleasure for anyone who appreciates a well tended store.

Every town should have a place like this. Besides having all the stuff you want in a neighborhood hardware store - plus unexpected stuff like great homemade cookies or a Hawaiian ukulele -- their paint expert does a great job matching my homes wall & cabinet colors for my touch-up jobs. Nice folks too. Worth stopping by every few weeks to see whats new.

Really enjoy my visits and time spent in the store. I recently decided to build a zipline in the backyard for the kids - they had everything I needed and provided some great advice to ensure the cables were secured properly. Going back again today to get some more materials...to make another zipline...kids are loving it!

A wonderful store - far preferrable to the big box stores. Somehow they really do have what you need (whatever it is) and they sharpen knives! Parking is always easy and they carry stuff out to your car, if needed. As I write my husband proudly wears their "dirty hands, clean soul" T-shirt.
