Stopped in here while I was on vacation last week and decided to get the first tattoo I ever got covered up on my back. After looking at a couple of the guys portfolios I decided I would talk with Travis about what I had in mind. I had a piece of tribal across my upper back that looked bad. I went to Travis and let him know that I wanted my last name done from shoulder to shoulder. I knew that wouldnt be the only thing to get and have it fully covered so I asked his ideas and came up with a tattoo of five roses and my name done through them. The best part was when he first said this I was thinking no thats not really my style and thinking about it in my head just didnt think it would look that great. He pulled out his tablet and took a pic of my old tat, he then starting adding the roses and my name on to it so I would know exactly how it would look when it got done. It was the visual that got me to understand that this guy really knew what would look really nice. I had spoke with probably 10 other artist at many of other shops prior to this and not one person would take the time to help me come up with something. This is by far the best tattoo I have ever received. I plan to make a trip out in a few more months from Illinois remind you to have him do a couple more. If your looking for a great place to get a new tattoo then make sure you stop by here and I encourage you to talk with him.

EVERYONE BEWARE!!!!! This tattoo shop will quote you one price and then once its done the final price will be MORE than double your quoted price. We were in Vegas for the week and my step dad decided to get a tattoo of one of their Great Dane puppies. The tattoo came out amazing, it was full of detail and took over two hours to complete. Total cost $600! Great job Big Mike!! The next day I went in and after showing her what size I was wanting was quoted $350 for a tribal tattoo that only was going to take about an hour. Happy with that price, said I was headed to lunch but would be back after. Once I returned we printed out the design and then was convinced by the lady behind the desk that I should definitely go with a bigger size. Having no idea about tattoos I agreed and went a size about an inch or so bigger than originally quoted. Long story short once the tattoo was done and I was checking out the final price was $900! I was shocked as one could imagine when asked about why the $550 difference I was told because the first quote I received was for a tattoo that was half the size of the final one I chose. Which was b.s. because it wasnt close to double the size it was only an inch or two bigger than originally planned. Highly disappointed I am considering turning them in for fraudulent business activity unless something is done to offset the difference!

So I Walked In the Shop Right Away I was offered help asap talked for a few min told the person what i wanted then this guy came and we started talking his name was big mikeee this guy is amzeinggggggggggggggggggg in what he doses takes special care and sooo sooo proud what he does everyday las Vegas ink is an amazing shop first time ever in vegas and at this place felt like homeeeee i highly recommend anyone to go there its open 24/7 they have artists on call when ever u like just make an appointment so they dont rush and take the really best care of youuuuuuuuuu from mike the guy in the scooter!!!!!! oh PS JUST READ SOME NASTY REVIEWS MAYBEEEEE U GUYS SHOULD ASK BEFORE U START TATTOOOOING I DID THEY SAID IT GOES BUY THE PIECE SO RIGHT AWAY DONT JUDGE THE SHOP IF ITS A BIG PIECE & IF IT EVEN TAKES 1 HR WITCH WOULD TAKE LONGER SO DOESNT MAKE SENSE HERE AFTER I GOT MINE DONE I ASKED!!! Terrible - he didnt know what he was doing with my snakeyes piercing after claiming to - instead of piercing it through the tip as the piercing is meant to be he pushed it halfway through and then had the end coming out the middle , my tongue started bleeding so much I was spitting up mouthfuls of blood - as he was telling me it was my fault for moving - Ive neglected to mention this is my second time with the piercing and i didnt move at all , but I understand how embarrassment goes , he then said we can try it again I was hesitant but I figured hey maybe it was just a small error , so second attempt would be better, but nope not at all , more blood , and more accusations of saying it was my fault for moving - not to mention after the second attempt - I had run to the bathroom feeling as though I was going to faint, mouthful of blood and a piercer with an attitude - not a good look- hopefully they will check qualifications for their staff in the future . This could have ended way worse - thankfully my tongue is okay- minus the piercing - but Ill be honest I might not even bother ever again . I was disappointed in the piercers attitude afterwards - had no interest in making sure I was okay , was too busy blaming me for it -

On a recent trip to Vegas my girlfriend wanted a tattoo and we went to Vegas Ink. The artist we talked to was Leo and we explained we wanted a coverup tattoo, he assured us that he had 14 years experience and the coverup wouldnt be a problem, he then showed us his portfolio, which was excellent, he said the cost would be between $300 and $400 and he would have 3 sketches ready for our return the next day, we believed him and were confident in his abilities so we made an appointment for the next evening. When we returned he only had 1 sketch, which we found out later was ripped off from the internet, before he started the tattoo he asked for payment of $400 plus a tip was expected as well. The tattoo its self was a dogs breakfast and it covered nothing, it looks like a bad tattoo that had an even worse tattoo on top of it. My girlfriends arm was butchered with the worse tattoo either of us has ever seen. my hope is that others contemplating visiting Vegas Ink read this review before getting a tattoo and that it saves them the pain and disfigurement my girlfriend has suffered.

Ryan Cush did work on me when I was in town on Thursday. I have had many tattoos done before by someone good in New York but Ryan by far exceeded what I got done. I was nervous about getting work done away from home by a stranger but thank God I went to him because he knocked it out of he park and it was by far the best tattoo I have ever had. It was a 3 hour session and he was just amazing. If I ever have any more ink done I will be flying back out there. All you people crying about the price have to ask first. Its not a traditional place where they do the work and you pay by the hour or the artist quotes you. Its about the size of the tattoo and they use whatever formula it is they use. I have to say it was a bit expensive but if you break it down by the hour its about a 20% markup of what a good artist would charge. People its vegas like New York they mark everything up because of where its located. Ryan and Vegas ink made my experience Amazing professional and I will be makeing the 5hr flight to get more work done by Ryan when its time.
