I am old enough to remember when Sears used to be the leader in convenience and service. In the past, if you needed a dryer, you just show up at the store, and load it into your truck and off you go. Sadly, for Sears, those days are long gone. You would think that with technology that convenience and service would become even better, but you would be wrong in assuming so. I needed a dryer, and I needed it today, so I went on the Sears website, and saw that a local store had the one I needed available for store pickup. So I ordered it, and waited for the text notification indicating that it was ready for pickup. After two hours of waiting the notification had not arrived. I called the store, and they told me that it was not actually in inventory. I understand that there can be problems with a website, but why didnt anyone call me to tell me that it wasnt available after all? Why did I have waste two hours, and four separate phone conversation before a store manager called me to break the bad news? Luckily for me, Lowes has dryers for pick up today. Next time, Ill be sure to try Lowes first.

Horrible service and high prices. Todays experience - another terrible one - with employees that seems to be high or just completely incompetent with zero IQ was horrible. I was looking for 1 inch wood screws and the only ones they had in stock with flatheads were $.27 each. In addition to that - the young man at the register ate a bagel and chewed with his mouth open while we were checking out. He was rude and should not be working with the public. The store is the worst.

I stopped in the Midland Park Sears today looking for a shop vac filter I saw online. A friendly man approached me and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. My entire experience was great everyone I approached said hello and was very friendly. The cashier ... I wish i got her name was amazing! she was great! Friendly and treated me as if she knew me for years. Great experience I wouldnt mind paying extra but in fact I got the best price on the filters.

Hidden gem. The store has everything that you could possibly need. No need to go to a big store far away just go here. They have the nick knacks that you need, screws, tools, even appliances. The paint department is well stocked and so is the plunging area. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff.

I just needed a basic tent and I got it from here, it was not too expensive and less than how much I thought a tent would cost so seemed pretty fair, it was fine for what I needed it for. Im not from here, but its like my Sears back home which was also a good one. I would go back again.

All you EVER see is the angry people that post bad things. This is a great place that has everything from nuts and bolts to appliances and everything in between. Very low prices and a group of employees that genuinely care. What more could you ask for?

Store is great with helpful staff. They helped me get the attachments I needed for my drill. I am from out of the area but they where just as friendly and helpful as the Sears and staff of my home town in New York.

Limited selection. The only thing that keeps this place going is the local customers who just need something simple without having to drive far. This is especially a big deal on a Sunday. Prices arent that good.

This store is open on Sundays, which is pretty huge. Its close to me and good if I need something right away. Their selection is pretty limited and the prices arent incredibly competitive.
