The WORST customer service I have EVER had. Melissa was nice. She was awesome. But the blonde "manager" with her breasts hanging out was HORRIBLY RUDE. We had a $5 off coupon for a rug doctor. Melisa was having trouble making the coupon work, a manager said to just take the $5 off manually but Melissa couldnt figure out how so she called on a different manager for help. This manager (blonde lady) sent melissa away and then was very rude and denied the coupon. I had been there for 25 minutes and I didnt care anymore so I apologized for the inconvenience and cook the rugdoctor. My roomate attempted to return it this afternoon and alas blonde Lady says it isnt clean enough to return. (When we got it it was full of hair and dirty water still) we cleaned it out but my roomate was confused and brought it home. My boyfriend just tried to return it tonight and blonde Lady says it needs to be washed out with a hose and cleaned with solution. We dont have a hose. I have rented this thing 7 different times and NEVER had a issue like this. If I could have one wish in my life it would be to watch you lose your job, you rude aweful person. You have no idea what Ive been through this week and to be so rude to me over a freaking rug doctor that is no sweat off your back?! What is wrong with you? Btw safeway it isnt legal to lock half of your doors and block them with carts before closing. If there was a emergency people cant get out and someone can sue you.

Unfortunately, employees at this location are careless, dont have idea about costumer service skills. Dont ever go after 7pm to buy a cake, thats mission impossible. I guess the employees are only in certain areas. I had to ask someone who was cleaning the sandwich area, this employee call 4 times for assistance, until I get a very rude man from the meet department telling the girl from the sandwich department just to put the cake in any box, he was very irate, the girl try to explain him she was waiting for someone because she didnt know how to write Happy Birthday in top of the cake. The guy look at me furious telling me he was not a decorator and the bakery was close. This is after I was there waiting for 40 minutes, after all this time I wait to decided to persist and talk to a manager. I felt insult by the meet guy, and I will never ask someone who cuts meet to decorate or write in the cake I was going to buy. Finally by my surprise an assistant manager show up telling SORRY I guess offering a free cake it was good enough, for her. When she try to override the price, a manager came out from a office, I was shuck ,so all this time it was a manager hidden in an office she offer free ice cream SERIOUSLY this a joke....??? I guess my time, frustration doesnt mean any thing for this store. I also recommendedto SAFEWAY to install a big sign, BAKERY CLOSED. So your costumers who paid your salaries wont bother and interrupt your time.

Very poor costumer service! No metter what time I whent to the store to send money Western Union I had to wait to be serviced because the personal it is in lunch time! And nobody could hepl me!???I ask for a manager and the answer was that I cant be helped by a manager because no one has the cod Nr for service. I been told to wait for 30 min! It is always a problem...no person to assist ,no card reader I have to get gum (or something)so they can give me money to be able to make transactions.I would like Safeway to have a sign saying personal in lunch...not just having people wait and wait...My time is precious...to just like the worker having lunch....

At the Madison & Dewey Safeway the employees are extremely helpful! There is a man in the deli during the day and I believe his name is Eduardo... He should be hired as a manager! He has EXCELLENT MANAGERIAL SKILLS... His customer service is beyond Excellent! You also have a woman in the late evening... Her name escapes me at this moment, but, I do believe she is in a managerial position... If not... She too should be! Excellent, excellent, excellent customer service skills! Very nice young lady! I have been a manager in a few different fields in my life & I know what to look for... Your company has 2 GEMS there!

So, Im walking through Safeway with an associate to show me something when my sandal broke and feel of my foot as I was walking. So embarrassing. She was very kind and she showed me where they had flip flops to match my sun dress Im wearing, and on my way to church. Thank you God, I didnt have to go into church shoeless. And thank you Safeway!!

While layout is nice, and looks updated, the store is frequently understaffed with cashiers. Often times only two three checkout lanes are open, and two of them are express, and the third has full carts going out into the main aisle waiting. The only saving feature is this Safeway has self checkout, which many in the area do not.

I do my regular shopping somewhere les expensive, but for a quick meal nothing beats the Safeway Ready Meals section. Most importantly, go to this store: other Safeways are decent, but this location has them all beat.

Every time I go to this grocery store the checkout lines are past the walkway into the isles with only the self checkout and 1, maybe two other lanes open. Either hire more staff during peak hours or hire a new manager.

I frequent this location, in my experience their staff are friendly, helpful, and willing to put things right if ever there is an issue. Bakery is usually best in a.m. hours, and check dates. Otherwise great location.

I like this place. Nice selection of items at value pricing if you have a rewards card, plus earn 10 cent off a gallon per every 100 you spend. Organic selection. They have a gas station.

This is a really spacious store that has all of the bells and whistles of regular Safeways. While I dont like the prices that Safeway has, I like how it has many options for vegetarians.

Good selection of dry goods and produce. I have been able to find several "odd" or uncommon ingredients on the shelves. Store is clean. Lines tend to be long on weekends, however.

Shopped here while on a contract, GREAT staff, GREAT selection. I would definitely recommend to anyone! My favorite even above and beyond the Roseville one that was closer to me.
