Not a place to buy saltwater fish or inverts. They know nothing about them. I found a long-tentacle anemone here today. I was going to buy it until the girl tried to use a net to get it out. Since anemones stick fast to rocks, she wasnt going to get it with a net. I asked her if she would allow me to get it out. She said "no, customers are not allowed to do that". She started to jab and stab at it with the net, so I told her to forget it. I didnt want it after she beat the crap out of it. She told me that she was afraid of being stung. I told her it wouldnt sting her, it would just feel sticky. I wish stores like this would educate their employees. It was not the girls fault. I also think Petco should get out of the saltwater fish business. Good local stores, that sold saltwater fish, went out of business because Petco is more convenient. But their knowledge and fish look horrible. They need to realize that many of the fish and most of the inverts were captured out of the ocean. Captured, taken to warehouses, then distribution centers and then to the pet stores. All to eventually die, because the store didnt care for them or harmed them from lack of knowledge. The fish hobby is dying because of this kind of practice. Petco, you are pathetic.

A Private User

The grooming staff is very courteous and they use wondeful scents on the dogs so that they smell clean when you leave. My dogs cut was wonderful. I dont like the way that they take their collar and/or leash off and let them run once they are behind the counter (which isnt very high). I think that this is a huge SAFETY conscern and will be sure to request that they keep my dog on the leash at all times while not being groomed. I would hate for my dog to escape and end up running out into the parking lot or encounter a dog while off of the leash. Great experience, but PLEASE be aware of safety, especially if your dog doesnt listen perfectly!

I was there yesterday to get some feeder fish for my tank, and they have very little fish to sell. They have dead fish in the tanks. There was a turtle in a tank with two dead turtles. The birds did not look to well. I dont see how they can sell animals in this place when the people that work there are not taking car of the animals that they have there.

Crappiest customer service I have EVER seen. My family stood there money in hand ready to buy. Couldnt get one of the store clerks to pay attention to us. They all just stand by the register talking. Then when you try to signal someone over they all go the opposite direction of where you are!!! Will drive OUT of my way rather than spend a dime here!!!

Went there thinking they would have a good selection of fish, I was wrong. As soon as the doors open all you smell is dog piss, no one came over to assist, looking at the fish there were dead fish in all the tanks. The store was filthy, there was hardly any other customers in the store. Dont think Ill be back.

Customer service here is often lacking. Selection of animals is on and off and health of animals is questionable.
