The fish look absolutely awful. Tons of fish, dead AND alive, were stuck to the filter. When we told an employee, she gave e us a look of contempt and said she was "getting around to it." Finally told a manager after she did nothing and suddenly the fish disappeared. We also liften the lid and found dozens of dead fish in the top of the tank. The employee acted like this was a new thing she hand togtten to yet when this clearly didnt just happen. What kind of pet store allows for the mistreatment of any animal like that?!

Absolutely appauled with what we saw today. Went to check out the fish, and what a sad sight that was. Purple tang was covered in Ich, blue tang covered in brown Ich. There was about forty dead goldfish in the bottom of that tank. You think all of those died in one day? How long have those been sitting there? Half of the Bettas had swim bladder. If youre going to sell fish, PLEASE at least hire someone knowledgeable and caring to take care of them properly. Not impressed and would never recommend!

I had purchased a $25 dog sweater from this Petco around Christmas time for a friends dog. The sweater did not fit, and since I live in Philadelphia, it took until February 16th for me to be able to return it. The clerk said that he didnt think they could take it back and simply stared at me. I asked him to check. After about 20 minutes, he came back and said that he could offer me $1 in store credit, but thats it. He offered no explanation and no word from a manager about store policy.

I always get my dog groomed here, and they do a good job, and are very helpful throughout the store. They have a good selection of toys and pretty much everything. However everything here is more expensive than youd find it elsewhere, but its a major chain, what do you expect? To those complaining about store hours...its 2011, and theres a million ways to check store hours before wasting the gas to drive to a close store. Get with it.

Typical chain pet store can be difficult to find an employee to help you. There have been times when the reptiles/fish have looked to be receiving little to no care with a lot of dead fish in the tanks. Other times though everything looks well maintained and healthy. Think it must relate to the quality of the employees at the time of visit.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS STORE IS HORRIBLE,,, Prices at the register should be the same as the price stated on the product shelf I have been charged a different amount several times, AMAZON CUTS MY BILL BY ALMOST 50% AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BEST! UPDATE, Amazon now cuts my bill by over 50%.

I traveled all the way to petco at 9:30pm thinking they were open until 11:00pm. And when i got there i noticed they were only open till 9:00pm. I was very upset because i drove all the way there and used a lot of gas. I would hope you fix this so someone else doesnt waste their gas also!

the dog trainer barb is the best! their animals are nice there too, just very overpriced. And compared to the other pet stores the pets from here are kind of boring. Like they dont move around much or anything. But it is a good place and the people are very helpful. Its just over priced.

After going to this store and being conned into buying a bunch of off the wall Heath products for my cat, I went to Walmart and found everything I had bought at half the price. I will not be back.

The staff is helpful. The aquatics specialist, Kaley, is incredible. She can answer any question you have. I would like to see a larger variety of salt water creatures.

Tons of stuff to look through. Make sure to check on the petco website, its typically cheaper and then the store will price match their own website.

It is impossible to get through on the phone! I tried for an hour on Sunday every 10 minutes and again today. Do you take the phone off the hook?
