I have visited this store 3 times total, and each visit has always been worse than the last. The first thing that you are bombarded by is the "You break it, you buy it" (Which they cant legally enforce anyway) or "Watch your children, they are your responsibility" "Dont open the packages. Its not just a few signs. They are everywhere! My favorite is the one that says "Theives will be prosecuted and their picture will be put on the front page of the paper." That one cracks me up. As if the unsightly building, and scary signs werent enough, They have the most unfriendly, arrogant staff ever. The man who owns it will look at you with a look, and NEVER say "Hi, can I help you?" OR "Bye, Have a good day!" Nothing! They just watch you look around like a bunch of creeps. The only thing I will say is they have a nice assortment of Tropical fish that are always stocked nicely and they have low prices. Other than that, my visit is always disappointing

Broad Mountain Pets doesnt know their product when it comes to live stock. The only thing i buy from them are ghost shrimp. Everything else dies and is un healthy. They will not take back fish that die saying they have the lowest prices. I will drive the 40min to petco/petsmart and get a 14day buy back on my fish, and they are cheaper to. if you need a quick item, then they are fine. API master freshwater kit I bought 2 months ago is almost 2yr old. Thats the shelf life of the product. Everything is dusty. The woman tells you what your buying is wrong. The man doesnt seemed thrilled to be there either. There used to be an older gentleman, not the one thats there now, who actually knew what he was talking about. I wish he would come back so I can ask him questions.

This Place is Great. Most of my fish from here I have 2 freshwater fishtanks and all of my fish are from here. The staff is nice for the most part. They have great prices. The only thing is I think is that there fishtanks are way over-priced it is like $200 just for a 10 Gallon tank. I can buy one at walmart or petco for $100 + a stand for $30.

Knowledgeable owner and employees, always seem to have what i need and if not we work it out. Just built a pond two yrs ago and their prices are acceptable enough that we bought and still are buying needed supplies

Always great service....always have plenty of pond supplies or aquarium supplies and fish....my 1 shop stop. I dont go anywhere else. Easy to find in Frackville Pa.

Nice little business ... less variety the a big box store, but it does have what you need if you look for it.
