Concerning PRICE MATCHING!! : I purchased a dog toy from this store for nearly $20. I thought it seemed too much for 1 toy so I looked up prices on this particular toy online at other businesses. Immediately a Google search showed me at least 15 other stores which supplies this toy at 50% cheaper (AND it wasn’t on sale AND they provided free shipping). I call the store 24 hours in advance: - Do you do price matching? – “Yes.” - Are there any restrictions? – “No.” - Are you sure? None? – “No restrictions.” - Can I print a paper as proof of another business’s price and get it price matched? – “Yes, that should be fine.” Okay great. I drive all the way across town with the toy, printed price, and receipt. The cashier calls over a supervisor for the price matching. Upon being handed the printed price she promptly declines it. I point out that it is a printed price from a real store having 36 locations in the USA and it’s not listed “on sale” or “discounted price”. She brings the paper to the manager. Manager declines it. I then also point out that PetCo carries the toy for almost 50% off as well. The only way to get a price matching is ONLY IF the price match is from a PHYSICAL store located WITHIN Ithaca, NY. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Funny. I called your store 24 hours in advance to confirm a price match guarantee. I returned the toy for my money back. The manager obviously never went to business school. This is bad business to go back on your word. You’d rather receive $0 than to receive $12 + tax in exchange for a piece of rubber. Not only that but bad service = a customer spreading negative opinions about the business and the loss of future business from that customer + friends and family avoiding the place too. I’ve never run into a store that has these types of restrictions on a price match. Very disappointing. On a positive note, the cashiers are always friendly and very helpful. They always go above and beyond to help me find a specific item not in stock or to even help me find a lost cell phone. They should be given more power to accept price matching etc. as they are the face of the business and help keep customers. They’re the only reason I give any stars at all.

I brought my sick cat into Banfield Hospital yesterday at Petsmart for examination and treatment. The "Veterinarian" Dr. Kimber prescribed three different medications, and told me that my cat had an infection. My cat passed away the very next day. When I called Banfield and spoke to another "Veterinarian", who checked Dr. Kimbers notes from yesterday, it was discovered that he wrote down in the notes, that my cat had cancer. He told me that my cat had an infection, and needed 3 different medications, and charged me $519.00. He charged me $519.00 yesterday, and within 24 hrs, my poor cat passed away. Banfield does not hire qualified "Veterinarians". They do not care about your pets. They only care about charging huge fees, and they are incompetent.

ok - dont trust the dog foods from here. I purchased one bag of dog food today, and it was completely rotten and the bag was filled by a lot of flying bugs. When I opened it, these disgusting bugs came out of the bag and flied around my room. Very shocking experience. Wow! Another impressive thing is the managers attitude when I went back to this Pet Smart and explained what happened to her. No sorry, no apology - just said "go and get another bag?" I mean seriously? selling rotten foods? bugs? and this service??? I can easily imagine other foods might have full of bugs, so please be careful!! I wish I have some time to report this to more officially like American food control.

The store is fine the grooming on the other hand. I am not a fan. Dont do that amazing of a job not to mention my dog never had a problem getting his haircut until I took him to pet smart. He got two haircuts and on his third haircut he was terrified and did not want to go in the back. He has never acted scared like that before. They also cut his skin behind both ears. Not happy with the results r how my dog was treated. I have friends who had even worse grooming experiences there.

Can never find help here. Nothing special about store and I certainly wish Banfield Vet was here. It makes me sad that their kitties are in cold wire crates with nothing to play with or do. Other PetSmart stores that I have visited, have a special area for the cats that have more appealing show cases and the kitties even seem happier. I get the feeling that this particular store is minimal. PetSmart, please upgrade this store.

I go here to get my dogs nails done. They are difficult dogs and these guys usually handle them well. Tashi and Joanne are the best technicians. Good hours of service and convenient. Cost $10 for a nail trim and another $10 to have them ground. I highly recommend paying the extra $10 for grinding - they get much closer without chancing cutting the quick of the nail.

Sucks ass and i love ass but not the kind like the store my dog was eating a cats leg and then my dog then pooped on the manager and then eat 6 men so what Im saying that the store is really good no problems at all. It Dogshit

Good selection and animals look clean and well taken care off but the prices are much higher than Amazon. Unless you have a super coupon, it doesnt make sense.
