Unlike the other comment that was written three years ago, Im not an employee of Kings. I for the first time in my life experienced racism at this supermarket. Firstly, it was my first time at this supermarket and ALSO MY LAST, throughout my search for my goods I was followed and looked at by employees. At one point, I even had an employee go out of his way to look over from the register area in the soup section to where I was standing in the cookie/snack aisle. As I approached the check out lane, the cashier lady with the british accent, so I think I heard, proceeded to look me up and down. I followed up with a greeting, but I received no response from her when which I knew she must have heard me. She proceeded to ring up my items in silence and put my items in the bag and left the bag on the conveyer belt. I swiped my card and the cashier handed me my receipt and at which I point I noticed that she had mumbled something under her breath. Then I had to REACH OVER the counter to retrieve my bag. I found this very strange and rude since I had noticed that for the previous customer she had left the bag in front of the register. Lastly, while I was gathering my items another customer approached the same checkout lane I was in. However, this customer unlike me was of a different race and was actually greeted and treated like a valued customer. Im completely displeased by my service at this specific Kings. I plan to spend my money elsewhere, like perhaps the Kings in Florham Park or Morristown, where I am not subjected to such racial profiling.

The friendly staff at Kings is great, a stark difference to the other super markets in the area. They have an excellent selection of prepared foods, and their produce is always great and beautifully displayed. Fish and meats are also top quality. I agree with the previous comment, Kings is more expensive for every day food purchases and they tend to carry only certain top-end brands.

Beautiful Supermarket - Always clean and well stocked and nice variety. Best is their Bakery, Meat, Fish and Produce Departments. Kings tends to be priced high or above competitive markets. Generally the quality in the departments mentioned are worth the extra cost. But, recommend price compare always if cost is an issue for you!

The staff at the store is very helpful... the store is very clean and the food is fresh. The store closes early which is difficult for people who work late......since it is the only food store in town... that is the only reason I rated it 4 stars....

Clean, with friendly staff. Many organic and other healthy options. This is a smaller location but it does the trick. A little on the pricey side but what would you expect out of Kings in Mendham.

Have been going for years. It has gone dramatically downhill in the last 2 years. They do not keep shelves full and routinely keep dairy with marginal "buy by" dates, on the shelf.

They charged $20.00(19.99)for a lb. of farmed salmon. This is over the top and is another price that is making me reconsider Kings.

Kings is always a little more pricey, but their produce is always fresh. Also the recent remodel gives the store a more open feel.
