Not a fan after today. Apparently its under new ownership? Theres a group of vagrants who loiter both inside the store and outside. There were three of us today shopping, with one in a wheelchair. We all had to use the restroom and while washing our hands, one of the vagrant females entered the restroom. It was the most offensive smell I have ever endured. Mind you, she was very much overweight -- so shes eating very good, but shes NOT a customer of the store. The manager today is worthless, as he allows this to continue in the store and also has the worst customer service skills. Im done and I will definitely share this with everyone one I know and the Health Department. Foul doesnt even come close to describing the odor. Thank God for the young lady, who witnessed the three of us and other women gagging and gasping for air, who ran over with peppermint for us to smell. She apologized for what we just endured. This is/was could have lead to a larger ordeal/Heath concern had one of us been asthmatic, yet they refuse to call the police and they seem to allow it. Upon your arrival, one is standing at the driveway entry with a homeless sign (also plump in size - so he too eats very well) and the woman is sitting on the picnic table right in front of the store - the Safeway owned picnic table. So disgusting. And yes I have a huge heart for our homelessness issues, but these two are there by CHOICE and nothing else.

Nice store, good selection. Good produce section, meat section, ethnic foods. Flower department is great. They have a Starbucks. Never, and I mean Never more than 3 registers open. Why did they build so many??? Mostly its just 2, often just 1. And the cashiers are in no hurry either. Very chatty, especially with each other and other staff members. I often avoid the store except when I really want something from there. Its a shame.

The woman at the deli counter. Astrid, should not be in a customer-facing position. After ignoring the man in front of me until he just walked away, even though he was trying to ask a question, she waited another long time to acknowledge me. Unpleasant and on the verge of rude when she finally took my order. I will shop at other grocery stores when I am in Rehoboth.

The nicest grocery store at the beach, still seems brand new, with a great selection of everything you could need. Getting a discount on gas (they have an accompanying gas station out front) is an added bonus. Long opening hours make it very convenient to shop whenever you need to.

Its pretty good, it has some types of brands I like that other grocery stores dont. But you are forced to stand in the one open lane with sometimes a chatty cashier who likes to comment about your food or what youre wearing.

Its got pricey. & theres a un gay friendly cashier carol in 8 year she will not look or speak to me or other gays but talk it up with the non gay customers i donot go in early morning when she there. .gr8 bakery

Floral department is awesome! Terry did a spectacular job on our wedding flowers. Personal attention to details about our dresses to match bouquets was impressive. Price was right, flowers were fresh. Excellent!!!

Love this store ! Moved here from Philadelphia and it is my new Supermarket, Pharmacy and Gasoline stop. Sale items always available.....great staff.....great selections....VERY clean and everything is FRESH !

Our Safe way closed down back home. When I saw this safe way at the beach I knee where I was going to do my shopping. Everything was easy to find. Everyone was courteous. Loved it!

Not like the Safeways back in DC/Md. Produce selection poor, and lots of rotting things no one bothers to pick out/throw away. SLOW service, and not as clean as other stores.

Get a Starbucks Coffee and do your shopping. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Ask for Tony at Starbucks, very knowledgeable and a real salesman for the store.
