Was on the lot last Thursday and put half down cash on a vehicle. Was told the work that it needed would be done at the latest by this tuesday. Called several times to touch base nearing the pick up date starting Friday of last week. I was told id get a return call back by louie in ten mins and waited 4.5 hours that day until I finally called them back...louie had left the lot by that point and was unavailable...(go figure)...furthering the ambiguities I tried making contact several times Monday morning. I was simply trying to get an answer and was met with "who are you? And why are you calling?" I go to reply and mike just hangs up on me mid sentence. I then drive the 2.5hours that I am from them on Wednesday after repeatedly trying to get answers all day Monday and tuesday as well. Was put on hold several times for 10+ minutes and after getting little to no response other than "we ordered the parts and itll probably be another day." this is 5 days now after I showed up on the lot and an entire day past the date they said it would all be done. I then asked for my money back from the transaction and was denied bc "I showed up after 5oclock and the banks were closed so theyd have to write me a check" when they told me I couldnt be seen til after 5 on the phone earlier. Just be straight up with people...and please, please, please stop claiming you guys are the best in Rochester. Bc if thats true and the quality of the treatment I received during my visit is how you guys get down being the best, I truly dont want to ever see what Rochesters worst has to offer!

Never Ever go to this place, I bought an suv from here that was suppose to be fixed, when we picked it up the moniters were not even all ready, louie told us it was ok and there was nothing wrong with it. Not even a day later the whole car reduced speed on the thruway and the engine light came on. Finally got them to come and pick it up and the engine light has been on four or five times now, they say they fix it and It never gets fixed. I got hung up on so many times by mike, you cant get a hold of the owner because he is never there. Now my air bag light is on to be serviced. I tried getting my money back and mike said nope have it repo, I dont think so. YOU SOLD ME A LEMON. I have court papers I am filling to get my money back on this truck. Nothing but a pain in the ass going through them. I would take your money elsewhere because you will have nothing but the worst experience ever going here. Im contacting the BBB and new York Complaints office also. This is not over. I have six kids and they put them in danger when they told me they were selling me a safe car. When they knew all along the issues it had, and they dont even care. Dont make the same mistake we did in trusting this people.

Worst experience ever for a first time car buyer. Only giving 1 star because I have to! We had to buy a new battery and because of the car being sold with a bad battery now nothing chimes inside my car. Was told there is nothing they can do about that.... They are horrible! Dont take the time to talk with their customers to let them know what was done to the car. The car might be mechanically sound but we have had to take it back 4 times. The car was sold and drove off the lot with bald tires how did they pass that through NYS inspection? They did replace the tires with used tires...smh...After taking it to a chevy dealer I have learned that it has an oil leak(not mechanically sound) Im still waiting to hear back about some questions I have. All they care about is getting your money! I will never go back and I will never recommend any of my friends or family go there! UNSATISFACTORY CUSTOMER SERVICE! STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANNA PAY THOUSANDS FOR A CAR AND THEN HAVE TO SINK THOUSNADS MORE INTO YOUR "NEW CAR"!!

brought a suv from them 3 years ago got most of my work done there. Although everytime I did get work done they were very unprofessional.As a female I didnt want to go threw the problem of finding another mechanic that might jerk me around,so I figured I brought the vehicle from them they would be the best place to get my car service. I called one day and ask when will be the best time to get my car towed to there shop David said he would call me back within a hour, never got the call back so I decide to call them. when I did he said sorry but we can no longer work on your vehicle. I did ask why he reply we dont have the right tools.I didnt understand because they always did work on my vehicle. If I could rate 0 stars I would. I wouldnt recommend no one to David Hoffman.No one I think they are scamming people with those high milage vehicle that has so many problems.. But this is just my opinion

DO NOT EVER COME TO HOFFMANS ON BUFFALO ROAD FOR A CAR, MY FIRST TIME LEASING A CAR, & IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!! SOON AS I PULLED OFF THE LOT MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON, COULDNT GO PAST 30 ON THE CAR BECAUSE IT WAS ACTING LIKE IT WANTED TO CUR OFF, TOOK IT TO GET FIXED WHEN I PULLED UP DAVID HOFFMAN WAS SITTING IN THE CAR WITH THE AC ON & THE CAR STILL WAS NOT FIXED. TRIED GETTING MY ORIGINAL CAR BACK A WEEK OR TWO LATER & THEY REFUSED, STATED THEY DIDNT PROVIDE THOSE SERVICES I WOULD HAVE TO GET A REPO, ONCE U TRADE IN U CAN NOT GET YOUR CAR BACK. WELL THERES A LAWSUIT COMING YOUR WAY !!!!!!

I will never work with David Hoffmans Auto Mall again. They are not helpful and not willing to work with you. In a competitive market such as the auto-market, you would think that a car dealer would be willing to work on customer satisfaction, they are not. In less than 8 months I have more than $5,000 invested into this car, and now it is having electrical issues that make the car unsafe to drive, and they are not willing to work with me. I will never recommend this business.

I buy a suv in there 1 year ago when i do the test i found i couple things they have to fix: tires,brakes,front and rear a/c ,battery, they only put the brakes pads and 2 used tires, for not fixing the rear unit they cut the pipes in the middle of the suv and put 2 caps cover it was at the beginning of March so i dont notice until summer cause it was cold and a couple things more long story. You guys dont go this place they see the face on people.

I TRANSPORTED SEVERAL VEHICLES FROM AUCTIONS TO HIS DEALER SHIP AND HE SCREWED ME OUT OF $2925.00 DO NOT DO ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY UNLESS YOU GET PAYMENT UP FRONT HE WILL SCREW YOU OVER AND LIE THAT THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL. TOTAL DEAD BEAT SCREWING THE WORKING GUY OVER .
