I received a call from a 3rd party saying that I was approved for an auto loan with a max car payment of $550. They told me that they was not going to do a credit check. They told me that all I had to do was go to Auto Connection and they will put me in a car. I went to Auto Connection and met with Ben. Ben ran my credit report. I asked him about the phone call I had received and but he wasnt able to explain it to me well enough. Nevertheless, I continued with the process. I told Ben, I didnt have a down payment at the time and I did not want a cosigner. After talking to the finance manager, Ben came back and asked if I could get a cosigner. I told him "no". He then said if I just had someone to cosign, the additional income would make a difference. I went ahead and asked my ex-husband to sign. He did. Ben called me back the next day to tell me I needed $2500 down payment. I told him "thanks but Ill just keep driving what I had". Two weeks later, Joe (not sure if his name was Joe or Jay) called me and told me that I was approved at one of the best banks and how come I didnt drive away with a car. I explained the story to him and told him that Ben said I needed $2500 down payment. He asked if I had a car and I told him I wanted to trade the car in. He said "okay, I will call you back in a few minutes." Joe didnt call back that day. I waited until Friday of that week and called him back to get an update. During that time, I had to explain the scenario again and remind him of what he was supposed to find out for me. He, in turn, said I will let you talk to the finance manager. The finance manager gets on the phone and Im explaining again. He said, "we need you to trade your car in". I told him thats what Ive been saying I wanted to do all along. He asked for the specifics on my car. I gave it to him. He said, "okay...let me see what I can do and Ill call you back." He said, you do understand that I will have to put you in something like a Toyota, Nissan or Honda. I told him that was fine. Here it is 2 weeks later and I still havent received a return car. My only issue is whether they are able to finance or not doesnt matter, however, dont tell me you will call me back with an update and you never do it. I had originally left it alone after talking to Ben but after Joe called me back about being approved with a good bank and wondering why I didnt drive away with a new car; it was then that I thought, well maybe they can do something for me. Lucky guess because I never heard back from anyone. They are very nice people, but not following up didnt sit too well with me. Im not sure where the disconnect was but it seem that maybe Joe got too busy and didnt talk to the finance manager or whoever he was supposed to talk to. I dont know...All I know is that today is August 11th and I have not heard anything from anyone at Auto Connection.

First off I was called by a place called auto loan financing, how they got my number I dont know. But I went ahead and listened to what they had to say. They said I was approved for a 18,000 dollar loan based on my income. They said that the loan broker would meet me there. They also said that there was a promotion for no money down. I cancelled my appointment about 3 times before I just Got bored with them keep calling me and figure I dont have anything else to do today hopped in the car and went to check them out. It was funny cause from the start I never intended on buying anything from them at all. Just wanted to see how true the so called 3rd party loan broker companies info was. As we all know some things are too good to be true. This is one of them. So I arrived and the guy said he would sign me in. Than let me use the computer to print my "pay stubs" out on the computer. So first the old guy who could barely walk let alone even look me in my eyes says "your year to date is wrong " so I went outside to call the so Called loan broker and they claimed they were closed and that she couldnt help me. (Im convinced it was them the whole time) So I came back In and the old guy goes from my year to date being wrong to the whole pay stub being fake. So I laughed and told him to go get the manager, so he comes back out and says he found my pay stub on a pay stub website. And then called himself joking about it to the other employees. So I came behind him and said let me see, he didnt want to let me see so I snatched his phone and looked and the whole time it was someone elses pay stub. So he starts yelling give me back my phone and Im just laughing pulling away from him and told him its not good to lie. So the girl that he made the joke to told him to calm down and ask me to give the phone the phone back and shell take me in to the office to see the manager. So I gave it back, and the manager says the bank wont except your pay stub and I say well first of all its 7pm on a Saturday there is no banks open, And second you have none of my info to even run my credit, you havent even called my employer to verify. Last but not least I dont want a car from here at all never did. I just wanted to know why the hell these people called me from out of no where telling me I was approved for a car. I never applied here or anything, you dont know if I have a car already or not for all you know I could have 3. I just wanted to confirm what I already knew from the time yall started calling me in the first place. And he started looking stupid. That right there is a prime example of dumb ass want to be scam artists. Do not go there. They only have 9 or 10 cars that arent that hype at all. They are dumb. And rude. I wouldnt give them a dime even if I wanted a car. Dont waste your time or money. And they will be loud so everyone knows whats going on to try to embarrass you.

So for the past few days Ive been getting calls from different people affiliated with this company. Knowing my situation I repeatedly asked about my approval amount and the interest rate. I also asked was there anything else I would need to do in order to move forward. I was told that everything had already been processed and that I was approved for $28,000 with an interest rate of 2.9%. With this sounding too good to be true once again I contacted someone to verify everything before wasting my time going out to the dealership. I was told that I had been approved and that the vehicle I wanted to purchase wouldnt be hard to get because they have different places that they get vehicles from. I had a co-worker whom purchased a Grand Marquis from Auto Connection last year sometime. When he tried to trade the vehicle in to another dealership, he found out that the car has a salvage title which put him in a bad position. He advised me not to purchase anything from this dealership but being a person that like to give things a chance I still went to see check things out for myself. When I arrived the employees werent friendly at all and it took a while before anyone greeted us or even acknowledged that we were standing there. The office itself is dirty and has strange odor but considering how the appearance of the employees was Im not surprised. My biggest problem with this company is the fact that they tell you one thing over the phone then something completely different at the dealership. During the time I was waiting for the guy to further assist me, there were two other customers upset because they came from a far distance all to be disappointed. And the crazy part is that the employees act as if they didnt even care how these customers felt when in fact it is because of customers like us that gives them the opportunity to have jobs.
