Outstanding experience selling my car. I had tried to sell it myself putting considerable time and money to sell the car, but was not certain if I had really priced it correctly. After two weeks of calls, emails and texts from mostly scammers selling the car myself I invested three hours to meet two people to test drive it. I had to do the whole mental game of where to meet them from a safety and security standpoint and not let them know where I stored, etc. They both turned out to be nice people and were both interested but were not able to get credit to purchase from an individual. A friend mentioned CarLotz which would take away this problem. I found CarLotz to be very professional in every step. They clearly explained their process and the transaction from start to finish was just as they said. They prepped the car very well and most importantly had a great software to help me price it competitively and fairly. They kept in touch with me as their was interest in the vehicle. They also discussed moving to a lot the fit the market for my vehicle a bit better and then -boom an email "your car was sold at your asking price." The entire process was two weeks. I wish I had heard of them from day #1. I will never sell a car privately or sell straight to a dealer again.

I have sold two vehicles through CarLotz. The first was several years ago when they first opened. The experience was completely seamless, the staff was helpful and courteous, and they sold my SUV at the asking price within three days. I was so pleased that we recently used CarLotz again to sell my wifes car. The experience was even better. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Again, we had an offer on the vehicle the first day it was on the lot, the CarLotz customer service representative contacted me, advised me on a counter offer and the vehicle sold the following day. I didnt even have to go back to the lot - everything related to title transfer and proceeds were handled by mail. I cant recommend CarLotz highly enough. They just do a spectacular job and deliver great value to the customer.

I just brought a 2013 Chevorlet Impala from the West Broad Street location. I first called and talked to Ryan to get some information about the whole process, he was great! Very informative and polite. When I arrived at the lot a few days later, Wes assisted me with the car I was originally was interested in and was straightforward with the value and overall condition of the vehicle, which was not worth it at all. The next thing I knew, I was test driving the Impala and feel in love with it. I was sold. Aaron helped me out with the credit paperwork, who was also a great person and very helpful. Within 24 hours, Aaron and Wes had me signing my life away! lol jk Very happy with my purchase and would recommend these guys to anyone! Thank guys for all of your help and if I ever need you guys again, I will be back! :)

CarLotz makes the car buying/selling process unbelievably simple and offers amazing value. I recently sold and purchased a car through CarLotz and recommend to anyone looking at buying or selling a used car to go directly to CarLotz. Not only did I get a great deal on the used car I purchased, I got great value for the used car CarLotz sold for me. In fact, 3 years ago I considered trading my car in at local dealership but chose not to. 25,000 miles later, I sold it through CarLotz and got 20% more for it than what the dealership had offered three years ago. The whole process of both buying and selling was incredibly simple, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff handled all the details such as title transfers, DMV, etc. If you are ever looking at buying or selling a used car, CarLotz is the place to go.

We purchased a car at the Midlothian Carlotz recently, and I must say, we were very pleased with the experience. I was pleased to find out that the "internet prices" were the real prices of the vehicles on the lot, and the only other charges were the processing fee and taxes, registration and tags just as advertised. We were able to negotiate an offer on the car, and take the vehicle to our own mechanic to check over, and that eliminated our worries about buying unknown problems. But the best thing about Carlotz is the customer service! The employees there bend over backwards to make sure that your experience there is a good one. There is no competition among the staff, everyone works together to get the job done. This experience with them has earned them my future business!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. Dont let the other reviews fool you, this place is definitely not going to be the right place for a working car (I think some of these reviews might be faulty). I ended up buying a VW Eos from this place and already within two months of getting it the car sprung an oil leak and now the transmission is having issues. Might even end up having to part the car out, what a waste of money. Ive bought other used cars in the past (Got a Honda Accord from McGeorge Toyota) and have had no problems but this car has been a nightmare. Dont get me wrong the customer service here is great but I highly dont recommend buying a car from here unless you get a top of the line warranty with it or youre ok with your vehicle breaking down a few months later

Terrible experience. These people are con-artists. I suggest you stay away from them. The experience will seem nice until you get home--its very cleverly designed to distract you just enough to trust them. If you want to go here, be as defensive as possible and dont get reeled in by any of their ploys of friendliness. They will have no hesitation in selling you a car with expensive issues "overlooked" by their "recommended" pre-purchase inspectors/mechanics. I never should have bought a car with these people, but trusted their name and reputation. Never again. Im not gonna be swayed by your words, either. You sold me a terrible car and provided lackluster service after it was purchased. You should be ashamed.

CarLotz is awesome! My family has sold two vehicles there and I have recommended them to 3 close friends - all of whom had great experiences. I sold my Ford truck through CarLotz for about $1,000 more than I was offered anywhere else. A good friend of mine was offered $2,500 for her Subaru by CarMax. I told her to take it here to CarLotz on Broad St. Two weeks later she had a check in hand for $5,500! Everyone is courteous, professional and they know exactly what they are doing. The whole experience is exactly the opposite of what you typically expect from car dealerships. If you have a used car you want to sell or are in the market to purchase, its a no-brainer to go see the folks at CarLotz.

Love the car I bought, but hate where I bought it from from prior to 2 months owning this vehicle Ive dumped over 1,500 into this car in repairs that suddenly pops up almost taking my life while driving it some parts were little things. Everyday I wake up I regret purchasing this vehicle from this location. Hopefully they at lease find a new way of selling and promotions there vehicles at least giving the next owner what can occur or something . Team was professional, but I wouldnt purchase or promote them to anyone else looking for a car .
