NEVER NEVER NEVER give Lawrence the sales man any of your business! I ordered a sofa and matching rug and he wrote down the rug color on display not the one that matched my sofa so my sofa arrived with a mismatched rug. Delivery was awful and did not speak English enough to even place the sofa where we asked and we had to FORCE them to take the wrong rug back after they began unwrapping it and insisted on leaving it. Lawrence did not call when the corporate lady said he would and every time I tried to call him back he was too busy selling to more customers to fix my order. When I finally got in touch with him he acted clueless and puzzled and asked questions like - You are sure the rug comes in that color? Did you see it on the website? Im like yes I even saw the sample piece on the stand in the store! Its called the Isofa because you can customize it stop treating me like an idiot. He seemed totally perplexed and said he would have to investigate the matter further and would call me back the following day. Number 1 I dont know what there was to investigate as I had the numbers written down on both rugs and Number 2 in his voicemail he said he would be there till 9 so I dont know why his investigation was going to take so long he would have to call back the next day. I called back immediately and asked for a manager who fixed my order and set up delivery in 10 minutes. Lawrence also acted like he was doing me a favor by assuring me I wouldnt have to pay for redelivery to which I replied you bet I wont, but I will still have to pay a friends gas to come be there for delivery because I work the only time once a week yall deliver to my area. The only reason I bought from rooms to go is because I liked the product far better than anything else I saw in other stores. However after this experience, I will be avoiding them.

2.5 years ago I bought a $3,000 set including an electric reclining sofa loveseat and chair from Rooms To Go. The product is what is referred to as a leather bond which is essentially chopped up letter glued onto a blue jean material haha. I think Rooms To Go and other major furniture manufacturers are understanding that these product simply do not wear more than a couple of years before it starts to disintegrate everywhere I also purchased a leather bond product from another retailer for our beach rentals with the same results splitting and cracking nearly five years prior to its lifespan. Youre much better off with 100% polyester or something of that nature as it wears extremely well compared to the leather bond. And it looks like leather. To make a long boring story short the manufacturer warranty is one year rooms to go gave me a $1,250 credit which I thought was very customer service oriented so today I went up re selected paid an additional $400 including the delivery charge their delivering my new stuff Friday and picking up the junk Thanks rooms to go for considering customer service and the potential of social media. Do not under any circumstances buy a leather bond product from anyone unless your expectations are a year .5 or 2 on wear Also dont be suckered into purchasing bond protection at $179 is pretty hard to stain polyester or leather.

Delivery service was horrible! The guys showed up 2 hours outside their 4 hour window without calling me and were rude. When they finally showed up with the couches they were ripped on the backs of the leather. I had to wait another 3 weeks for another delivery and didnt receive a call about the delivery window on that either. At the store the salesman lied and told me my recliner was adjustable by the delivery guys, because I didnt like the amount of tension on it. He said there was a screw or something that could be adjusted. I would not have bought the sectional couch and recliner if I knew that matching recliner wasnt adjustable. Now I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee to return all the furniture. That would cost me approximately $700 to return everything. For my return items I was scheduled from 1pm - 5pm and I had to call their customer service line to find out that window because they didnt bother to call. 9am that day delivery drivers are beating on my door and ringing my doorbell at obviously the wrong time. They only picked up 3 of the 4 pieces of furniture because my salesman Travis Kerr, who I talked to on the phone about my situation, didnt bother to fill out the return form. I will not be shopping at this store again. Too many issues all the way around.

I have had some awful experiences at RTG. The first was a few years ago when I purchased a bedroom set and had it delivered. Upon delivery the RTG delivery person pointed out that one of the nightstands was damaged. I contacted RTG and was told I would get a replacement. After a few weeks and no replacement I called and was informed that the set was discontinued and that I could have a nightstand that did not match my set. The next happened just recently when I needed a second new bedroom set. I gave RTG a second chance. The set was not in stock but I could have it in a week and would be notified of a delivery window. The notification I received was from a woman who barked at me over the phone that a delivery crew was onsite and no one is responding to the door. Once I arrive and they start unloading we find that one piece is damaged so bad that the wood had splintered. The other piece was defective. I did not want to go thru the hassle again and had them take it all back. I spoke to the store and was given the runaround by being told that I needed to contact the corporate customer service office. They told me that the store was the only one who could handle my issue. All I want is to have no issue with RTG; refund my money and let me take my business elsewhere.

My husband was just in your store, and walked around FOUR times with NO acknowledgement! He drove an hour after working 10 hours on a construction site, so he was in his work clothes. NOT ONE OF THE ASSOCIATES, not even the three that walked past him, said one word to him! Not a "hello, be right with you." or "how can I help you?" NOTHING! He walked out of your store with the $4,000 he was ready to spend on the Eric Church furniture set we saw and liked, after he saw a couple walk in and immediately be greeted. Idk if RTG has a policy discriminating against how people look, but please know and understand that my husband is a hardworking man, and deserves to be treated with the same respect as any other person walking through your doors. As I type, I am waiting to speak to a supervisor, and have been waiting since before I started typing this review. Understand that this review will also be submitted to the corresponding Yelp! as well as Facebook page for this store. I want everyone to know how Rooms to Go thumbs their nose at the working man.
