They have the Worst behavior ever. About a week ago I bought a fry pan from their store. I also bought some fish and some vegetables. They handed me the pan with all the fish and the vegetables in the pan instead of give them in a bag. I didnt say anything. I came back home and got the fish and the vegetables out of the pan but the pan was stinking because of the fish got in there. So washed the pan with normal water. At night my husband came from work and saw the fry pan but he didnt like it. So, he said return it. I said ok. Next day, I went to the store and wanted to return it but they refused to take it back because I washed it and the seal of the pan was torn. They said that they dont allow returning used things. I was explaining them what happened but the owner of the store got mad at me. He was misbehaving with me while I was explaining. After arguing a while, at one point the owner was saying " get outta my store. I told you we dont take back used things" He tried to touch me even though I am a women. He said he would beat me if I were not a women. I was wondering how could they business here if they behave like that. Everybody please be aware of them.

I want to start off this review by saying I am a frequent customer of Sunrise Supermarket and I love the store, employees who work there and the family who runs it. I also want to add that I just so happen to be there the day of the whole "Terrifying Incident". An Indian Man was acting like a fool in front of the entire store and being very disrespectful to the employees and mangers who run the store. The Man got mad and was yelling and throwing his arms up and went out to his car. Shortly after the police were called the Indian Man got out his car to talk to the officer. The talking didnt last long before the officer left as well as the Indian Man. Nobody was beating anyone up. Nor chasing anyone to any vehicles. Which goes to say that all of these post are posted by the same person with same bizarre story. Anyone who was there on that day can vouch that the information given in the previous posts are nothing but lies. Lets be truthful guys. Its just not nice to lie. Have a good night.

This is the worst Chinese/Asian grocery store I ever seen. (1). their vegetables are at least two months in the stock before they are on the racks, I did a test by keeping one pack of fresh vege bought from Atlanta in the refrigerator, after two months it still look fresher than those in Sunrise. I highly suspect they bought those mouldy vege from Atlantas disposals; (2). Sunrise sell fake products, their black sesame are dyed grass seeds. You wont find the production date for most of the packed groceries; (3). They are rude and lie about everything !!! I asked when they got the bread, the Chinese female owner answered rudely without even thinking as "yesterday", but their American cashier tells me its 3 days before. There are so many times I heard from the male owners cursing the cashiers in Chinese. I cannot believe they can poisoning and cheating with customers but being tolerated so long. Try anything, if you donot believe what I said.

做为一个超市，东西不新鲜就应该扔掉。而不是继续卖！超市有赚也有赔。你们卖给我过期的东西可以，但不能把过期的日期拿掉。我住在knoxville 有10年了，没有一个亚洲超市，你们开门那一时我很开心。东西也好。我基本每一个星期去一次两三百的买。如今经济不好我理解，但不能拿我们顾客出气啊！东西过期不能吃是第二次了。你们的店老板和墨西哥工作员对客人好像是对敌人一样。 我再也不会去了。

first and last time going there all produced are old and expired , plus the store smell horrible I bought box of yellow Mengo went home cut two of them bad and black inside took Rest of the box back with recipt refused to take it back I left there told them to throw the box away and Im sure they willl re sell them I know it is only 10 dollars and it is not Worth it but the way they treat the customers bad and also my son got a candy and it was expired My question is Why they cell expired old things Never back again

Do not buy non-food items from here. They do not honor the return policy on them. Bought an iron cooking pot and that got rust just after the first wash. I took it back to return it but they said they could not take that back. the guy got another pot and washed it to check if the rusting thing was true. the pot that he washed did not get rust but the one i got, did get rust. I felt humiliated to be declined and he made me feel like i was trying to cheat him to get my $15 back. Worst management i have ever seen.

This place is authentic. The biggest foreign goods market that Ive seen in the area. They specialize in goods from Asia but have a very wide variety of items from Mexico and South America. My wife is Chinese and she makes it a point to go at least once a month to stock up on good to create the tastes of China here in America. Worth going in to check stuff out just for the experience of seeing so many things from around the world.

Today I went to Sunrise store and I saw they were fighting with a customer. One of their employee was breaking that customers car. That customer was inside the car so he couldnt reach him but he broke some parts of the car. There were so many people there. Somebody called the cop. After seeing all the stuff that they did the cop arrested one of their employee. That was terrible. I havent any other store who fights with customers.

买到过期半年的食品。工作人员态度很差，在超市里大喊大叫。WARNING!!They sell a lot of out-of-date food.I bought a rice noodle out of date for half year!!Staffs are rude.

awesome selections on international products!!!! it makes me feel like home!! i am from atlanta and i am so thankful they have this market here in Knoxville, it saves me a trip back to atl for my grocery needs every month!!!! Even though the seafood smells are kinda strong in this store, but i know its how all the asian markets are so i will live with it!

You can get anything, and I mean anything here. Including goat balls. Yes, they are labelled goat balls in the package. I go on "dates" with my kids here and we always get weird dessert. They also have really good produce, some of which you cant get anywhere else in town. I have even bought squid here for calamari and it was great.

Huge selection, great employees until an hour before close, definitely the place to find specialty items. I always go here for specialty ingredients, but I have to admit that I dont stray from familiar brands hardly ever. Kikkoman makes so many more things than I thought they did, but all of them are good.

Numerous selections of Chinese food. But sadly many food that is out-dated labeled as most current one. Sorry for the profit-only actions that potentially make the consumers ill when eating some of those jars and bagged food. Sorry for those Chinese costumers that were treated badly by the staffs.

Family owned business. This is THE place for exotic produce. They also have quite a selection of Caribbean and Middle Eastern foods as well. Plenty of crockery and unique things that are hard to come by stateside. Very nice, hard-working people. Love doing business here.
