Quite simply, Publix is the best supermarket in Knoxville. If you noticed over the past 10-15 years, Food City, Kroger, Albertsons, Food Lion, etc all have cleaned up their stores and tried to increase customer service. One reason: Publix and hoping to keep from losing you to Publix. These people are tenacious about customer service. I went in one morning early looking for some chocolate cake mix..... one of the managers walked me to the section (didnt say its somewhere on whatever aisle like the others) and pointed out the brands on sale, and pointed out his personal favorites. Then he asked if there was anything else I was looking for that he could help me find. THEY REFUSE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS SOMEWHERE WITHOUT TAKING YOU TO IT AND SHOWING YOU, REGARDLESS OF HOW BUSY. You cannot find a better, cleaner, more full supermarket in the area. NO NASTY PRODUCE....ALWAYS FRESH. The people make the difference. And needless to say theres no market research value card you have to use, or you dont get the sale price. NOT ANOTHER CARD ON THE KEYCHAIN. And, if for some weird reason you want something they do not stock.. a particular brand or a certain product, just ask and they will get it for you. Period. THEY WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET YOUR BUSINESS, AND THEY WILL NEVER DISAPPOINT YOU WITH POOR SERVICE.

You know a store is doing it right when, after just a few months, they become the standard by which all of your other shopping experiences are measured. They are clean, well stocked, and offer plenty of brand options. Everything around the "perimeter" of the store - the meats, deli, produce, sushi - are all topnotch. Its a joy to interact with employees who are friendly, respectably dressed, and who actually know their way around the store. The only negative? Their prices are slightly higher than other chains, but if you shop carefully you can find plenty of deals and sales (and you dont need a loyalty card!). However, I definitely find it worthwhile to pay a little more to shop here. Publix is a newcomer to the Knoxville area, so I know theyre trying to make a name for themselves... keep it up!

I love Publix! This grocery store is prevalent in Florida, where I learned how fabulous they really are. If youve never tried a cake (or really anything, for that matter) from the bakery, you havent lived. Yeah, right, you say. Cake from a grocery store bakery? Yuck! Most of the time this is completely true, but not@ Publix. Their bakery rivals any traditional bakery, any time. Honest. And then theres the deli. Chicken tender sub on 5 grain, freshly baked, bread. Extreme comfort food. This is the only grocery store that i will buy potato salad at. Homestyle mustard. Great stuff. I could go on quite a bit longer, but suffice it to say that this is a top notch establishment. They go out of their way for customer service. Im thrilled theyre as far north as Tennessee!

Only my second time inside a Publix. Stopped in to "shop" (look offerings over as opposed to picking-up specific items). During an off-time so, I had the store to myself. It was easy find in a newer shopping center. Walking in my first impressions were fastidiously CLEAN with a layout I immediately found familiar without any confusing, over-done traffic funneling. I easily cut across the grain bypassing the produce/bakery/deli/... areas, for now, yet did not feel cut-off from them. I searched every aisle and picked up a few items. When my arms got a little full a nice carry basket appeared!

I am very familiar with Publix having lived in FL for many years. I was delighted to see Publix going up off of Northshore. Publix where shopping is a pleasure, is what all of their employees live up to. My first visit there was a few weeks ago after I got off from working the night shift. Everyone was very pleasant for 7:30 in the morning and one item I could not find in the store led several people searching. As I checked out, one young man wanted to take my groceries to the car. He seemed disappointed when I told him thanks but I could do it myself.

Best quality meats and produce around!! Brand names, well stocked, clean store, pleasant well informed employees. Please come to Maryville soon!! Until then my neighbors and I will drive to get the best quality foods for our families. Public treats us like Queens and Kings with great respect. 5 Star Food Store...not over run with clothing and such. Always a pleasure shopping with Publix.

This is the best customer service in the area, I was greeted by everyone I passed. Two associates helped me find things I needed in different parts the store without me initiating contact. Also all of the produce was fresh, on this particular shopping trip most of my basket was produce and at stores like Walmart I generally have problems finding fresh fruit and vegetables.

The only grocery store where the customer is treated like a king/queen with kindness and respect. If you ask for help - They will walk you to the product, pick it up and place it in your hand. True 5 Star Customer Service Every Time! Minus 1 Star - There prices on most of their items are generally slightly higher than their competitors...

There is no better grocery store than Publix. Customer service is top notch. Food quality is unbelievable. The pre-made food in the deli is delicious. Compare the pre-made food in other stores and you can see the difference. Also, the deli counter is so fast unlike Kroger. We drive from Maryville TN to Knoxville TN just to go to Publix

Publix is known for its customer service and product selection/variety/quality, and this store is no different. Prices are average for Knoxville, just a tad higher than Kroger and Food City, but you dont need a special card for the savings. Their subs are THE BEST, period. And they have the best produce department in Knoxville.

Being from Florida, we are very familiar with Publix. This store in particular is one of the nicest stores we have ever been in. My wife and I drive more than 20 miles to shop at this Publix. Sure hope you build one closer to Seymour . Possibly on Chapman Highway, or Highway 66.

On 11/02/2016. Got lunch at the hot bar and the sweet and sour chicken was under cooked and had a nasty after taste. I dont know whos in charge of the cooking on that day. People can get very ill for eating under cook chicken being warmed up till serve. Harvesting bacteria.

Stood in "10 Items or Fewer" line behind Publix employee with 30 plus items. Others behind me having to move to other lines. Mentioned this to clerk and was brushed off. Not what I expect at Publix.

This Publix is a great place to grocery shop. They have very friendly staff, are always stocked with the items I buy, and their bakery cookies are my daughters favorite.
