Wonderful experience. I needed to print out a name badge for a Halloween costume. First I went to FedEx Print center. I am told to get on a self service computer (at .30 a minute) and bring up the attachment in MS Paint, where I can print it for over $1, but of course it is the wrong size, and I cant figure out how to get it to print in actual size, then I have to figure out how to re-scale the thing and end up pissed off and frustrated and walking out of the place in disgust after spending over $10 without even getting what I wanted yet. I then went down to Mr. Kopy. "Oh sure, just email us the attachment, we will scale it, print it, and laminate it for you" I come back 30 minutes later, they charge me $4 for exactly what I wanted, that is half the price I paid to FedEx, and I got exactly what I came in wanting. There is no comparison. Dont waste your time down at FedEx, just come downtown and these guys will take care of you.

I knew what kind of place this was when I saw dollar store envelopes for $3 and other overpriced stuff from China. I asked for a price on simple fold-and-staple books, he told me over $8 apiece. Ive had them printed all over the world, including LA, London, Seattle, & pay only $3-5 each. He told me FedEx costs more, I told him thats not true because I use FedEx regularly. Then I got them done at CSU for $3. Ive been printing for >20 years. I went back another time for 1 B/W print from an email I sent him. He said its 50 cents to open an email. I thought he was joking, but no he really charged me 50 cents for 1 copy (13 cents at FedEx). He said FedEx has slower computers, I said I didnt use your computer I have a laptop. He said hes the cheapest in town, I said CSU is cheaper. He said I pay with my tuition, I said I dont pay tuition. He said "well this is who we are" & wandered to the back to play w/the radio. I hate places like this.

George, the owner at Mr. Kopy, is one of the kindest people I know. Ive been going to his copy shop for many years, and he treats every customer like family. He offers the cheapest prices, and if you ever find someone who provides a better price, he will certainly price-match it and probably give you an additional discount. Unlike other copy shops Ive had bad experiences with (price- and service-wise), George and his employees will go out of their way to help you out! If you really need something fast, he will make it happen if he can without charging you a crazy fee for it. Mr. Kopy is locally owned and not a chain, so its my pleasure to recommend this business to you!

The team is reliable, friendly and no new business owners of Chico. George, is the one I know. He is very hospitable and reasonable. As far as rates and customer service go in comparison to Fedex/Kinkos, check them out for yourself. I already have. Mr. Kopy returns the profit to the community, large corporations to those that benefactor them. Choose localism.
