Im sorry to hear that someone did not have a great experience with Necessary Secrets. Ive been going there (formerly Bare Necessities) for some time now (over 6 years). If youre the type of lady who does not require or desire the fit of a secure bra, then department stores and franchise stores may be a better option. For those of us who are tired of wasting time, money and gas going from shop to shop and still not finding what we need, I strongly encourage you to try Necessary Secrets. I have sent well over a dozen women (and their growing girls) to this store for a number of reasons....(1) they are professional and customer service is superb. (2) as an African American woman I look to patronize businesses that treat me with respect, care and integrity; I get that here. (3) they listen to what feels right/does not feel right on the customer. (4) they are honest when it comes to what looks good/does not good on a customer (5) I receive courtesy calls when my alterations are complete. (6) their bras last. Ive replaced all of my bras with bras from this shop and they have endured the test of time, washing and drying (which sometimes I forget not to do). (7) they even altered my swim suit! (8) every referral I sent said they lived up to the recommendation I gave (9) yes, their bras are a bit more expensive, and to me, well worth it; you get what you pay for. (10) every customer has her own individual account where they keep track of the bras your sizes, alterations, etc. This was especially helpful to me when I took my minor to get new bras. She felt the positive part of growing up knowing she had her own account, and I didnt have to remember her style/sizes which may all be different depending on the brand. I think thats it! I hope this review helps someone. I know that every place is not for every one, but Necessary Secrets is definitely worth visiting.

This was the most awful bra shopping experience I have ever had. The woman who helped me was apparently one of the owners and was extremely rude to me. As a person with a very small rib cage and chest, it is difficult to find well fitting bras and when I would offer information that I have learned about fit from other places she told me that I was flat out wrong and was incredibly abrasive. She told me that size 28 does not exist (completely false) and I ended up with an ill fitting bra because I was so uncomfortable and felt attacked during my whole visit so I wanted to get out as quickly as possible. I almost left in the middle of my fitting because I was so offended. I will absolutely NEVER go back to this place. The only good thing about my visit was that they altered my bra while I waited. With that said, after the alteration, the cup no longer fit and I would expect that the "Owner" of the store would know to go up a cup size since the bra will fit differently once the band is tighter.

I had to leave a review, I have been non stop stressed about finding an undergarment for my wedding dress that is very low in the back, I can not express how impressed I was with the staff, and overall experience! I walked in the store and 20 mins later I had a bra that fit comfortably, and looked amazing. They eased my mind that if the bra did not work with the dress alterations could be done to the bra and they would figure it out! I am truely grateful. I will defiantly recommend this store to everyone! They made this a very easy and stress free. Thank you so much for all of your help!

I did not have a good experience here. I got a bra fitting and all the bras I got didnt fit. I put them in the wash once and they completely fell apart (I didnt even put them in the dryer). They are also completely over priced. I went to Victorias Secret and I was a whole cup size bigger! I wash my Victorias Secret bras regularly and they look great and maintain their shape. DO NOT BUY BRAS HERE THEY ARE TOO OVERPRICED AND ARE MADE FROM CHEAP MATERIAL!

I did not have a very good experience while shopping for my first time there. The prices are ridiculously high and the customer service representatives were all rude and unprofessional. I should have known better but will stick to Victorias Secret for now on.

I love this shop. The owner and staff are eager to please, very professional, always have what I need and I would never go anywhere else. Please stay for at least as long as I need bras, panties, sleepwear, robes, etc. Loved your mom, love you all.
