DO NOT SHOP HERE! GO ACROSS STREET TO DOC SMOKE SHOP! both times that my friends and I had visited firefly to spend a decent amount of money on glass we had our throats jumped down the second we walked through the door! that manager/employee/owner is not a very nice person considering hes the one with the buisness trying to sell his product to me you think he would be a little more on the nicer side? no, we left the shop within 30 seconds of being there the first time because it is just a bad atmosphere for a headshop. I felt more as though he would have been more suitable to run a library more so then a headshop.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PURCHASE ACROSS THE STREET AT DOC SMOKE SHOP! i purchase top quality glass such as illadelph, toro, roor, witch doc smoke shop has everything firefly does and youll have a much pleasant time purchasing from DOCS! ALSO, all fireflys products look like they have been sitting in thoughs glass cases for YEARS! docs is much more put together and has clean cases with items that look like they come and go very quickly! OVERALL SAVE YOURSELF THE PAIN AND GO TO DOC SMOKE SHOP ACROSS THE STREET FROM FIREFLY! YOU WILL RECIEVE THE SAME PRODUCTS IF NOT BETTER AND 100 TIMES BETTER SERVICE!!!

The older white man in the shop was extremely racist and demeaning to me and my friend. I went into the shop with 3 other friends, 2 white males and an African American woman and I am of mixed ethnicity. My 2 guy friends brought us there because they needed to buy stuff which they did. While we were waiting for them, the old man kept making snide remarks to us as we were chatting and braiding our hair in front of the mirror which is in plain sight from the counter. While one of my friends went to the bathroom, we were still waiting and I picked up a hanger with an outfit on it and did not touch the actual outfit. He told us to put those down immediately because we had just touch our hair and we will get the outfit dirty if we touched it. We both have dreadlocks. We put the outfits down and walked out. He is a derogatory, racist and sexist man. I will never shop there and you should only shop there if you support these qualities. Horrible place.

Im not sure why the other reviewers had such a horrible experience, mine was completely the opposite. The shoes are NOT ridiculously marked up when compared to other places to buy both online and in store. They have a decent selection in store as well. I cant say as much for the outfits, but I dont go in for outfits. The last time I went in I was looking specifically for a pair of boots for a costume. They did not have them in stock, but the employee who was working with me, told me that they could order anyones I wanted in, as long as they were in the catalogs the store had, and that even though they had to be a special order, I would still get the 20% off. There are not as many places that will special order shoes in for you, or that would even care if they didnt have what you needed. I love Firefly. Im sorry others had a bad experience, but dont ruin it for everyone.

OK to start, its lame that ToroMasterOG works for Firefly and smears other stores.... other than that, yeah - the employees were not in-my-face pushy when I go there but they do sort of hover over you (why??? all the stuff is in cases!) Besides that - Firefly isnt horrible, certainly not the worst headshop in Baltimore but they arent great either. Ive never found a headshop/pornstore combo that does either very well.... Firefly has some brand name stuff, they also have cheaper stuff whereas Docs essentially caters to the high-end glass crowd. The pricing at Firefly/Docs for the same items are on point (either store will beat the others price if you walk across the street and ask them).

The salesman was such a clown. As soon as we walked in he told us we get a 20% discount because it was my daughters 18th birthday. Great ! When come time to pay, no discount, like I cant calculate 20% off, duh ! Then when I asked for my receipt he says, "Oh it didnt print, I will have to take your card again, cancel the previous sale, and charge it again to get your receipt". Of course Im gonna say never mind. What, so I can Accidentally get charged twice, dont think so. I blame myself though, shouldve insisted on the discount.

The guy was really cool and answered all my questions nd helped me with everything I needed. Just talk to them they are very helpful. They have a wonderful selection nd pretty decent prices for what they are ..as well as well made and intricate pieces as well ..I enjoyed my visit And I highly recomend it. :)

This place is terrible, they are rude and dishonest. They mark their prices up way too high, so high that they are still expensive after a 25% discount. They sold me a product that doesnt work and told me it had a three year warranty then they refused to give me a receipt to get my warranty.
