We purchased a new KitchenAide stove and had it installed 12 -24. Within two week weeks the control panel was malfunctioning. I contacted Metro and a service tech was sent out and informed us the entire control panel was defective and would have to be replaced A part would be ordered. I contacted the service manager, Brian, and requested the oven be replaced as it was a brand new oven and was concerned about future issues as the control panel is basically the oven. I was informed that kitchenAid would not authorize this. I asked for an extended warranty and was advised Metro would not provide this either. I asked to speak to the store manager and was informed by Brian that he would not provide the managers name or number to me. I would have to hang up and call the salesperson I worked with to get the managers name. I called the salesperson and obtained the managers name and was informed by the store receptionist that no one knew when he would return to the store. A message was left for him 5 days ago with no return call. When I suggested to Brian that if they exchanged the oven they could resell mine in their scratch and dent. His response was they would not do that because they would lose money. When I explained I have bought many appliances from metro and am in need of a washer. The loss of my future business is likely greater than the small loss on a defective oven did not seem to matter to Brian. When I contacted KitchenAid I was informed it was at the discretion of the selling store to exchange the defective oven. Brian assured me the store manager would feel the same as he does. Apparently customer service is not a priority as noted in previous reviews by management, but profit at all cost. Unfortunately, the very poor customer service will prevent me from making any future purchases from Metro.

Buyer beware. Bought $25,000 worth of kitchen appliances here and had it sitting in my garage for 1 year while we remodeled our kitchen. We finally were ready to install everything and the Thermador stand alone freezer, which cost $4,500 was defective! The compressor mount was bent and installed at a 45 degree angle, the electronics were broken off and just shoved inside. The damage wasnt done thru transport but missed by quality control. Called Metro and Randy told my husband that Metro wasnt going to "eat it" and to call the factory. Very rude especially for spending sooooo much money!!!!! Its still sitting on the pallet that Metro delivered it on in my garage!! WTH!!! If your smart DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM METRO!! Unfortunately, after we spent our money here, weve been hearing a lot of similar horror stories from other people. Look at all the one star reviews, how are they still in business? Once they get your money then its screw you. Those people who said dont listen to negative reviews, call me, I dare you. Im done and have told MANY people to stay away from Metro. P.S the freezer drawer is cracked but Im sure we will have to "eat" that as well.

Prior to closing on a new home at the end of May 2017, we paid to upgrade the dishwasher in the new home package to a stainless steel one. From the first cycle, it did not dry properly, as the dishes were cloudy and damp, even though we followed manufacturer instructions. When you open the door after a cycle, the door and the base, where it closes, still look dirty, like it never washed. Called them twice, received one call and was asked if I used a rinse aid. Advised we had, and was told they would get back with me. It has been well over a month now, and still no return call. I know people get busy, but its still disappointing to pay for an upgrade for something that doesnt clean properly.

General Manager, Ann Howell, helped my parents with an adjustment for a GE dishwasher which was two years and five months old. The stainless steel tub developed a crack and leaked water. GE was absolutely no help in the adjustment process. The customer services representatives were caustic and offered no help and said no appeal was possible to higher up levels. Ann Howell stepped up and went in through the Dealers side and negotiated a fair adjustment for this onerous situation with GE. I strongly suggest you purchase extended warranties or dont buy GE products. Metro is a terrific store, well-managed with friendly sales personnel. You cant go wrong by shopping there.

Bought $5,000 worth of kitchen appliances and had issues with my Frigidaire Professional 30 Slide-In Gas Range that cost $2700. we kept smelling gas and had Metro out 4 times to repair the issue. the problem still exists, and the one year warranty has passed and Frigidaire is willing to cover all of the parts, but Metro refuses to cover the labor charge. Now Metro is rude and doesnt want to help at all, so after 2 months of fighting Frigidaire is going to give me a one extended warranty so labor would be covered and we could have someone else come out to repair the range. We will never go back to Metro.

Dont believe the other low reviews! I have bought three appliances from metro and had three different salesman and all of them were kind, patient, and understanding! I have never felt pressured. But my recent experience with Tony was so great, it made me love metro even more. My wife and I were having such a difficult time deciding on the right refrigerator for our kitchen. So much so that we changed our minds three times. Tony was patient with us through the whole process even though we made the selection much more difficult than it needed to be. And we are very happy with our fridge.

I have used these guys for a long time, ask for the black carpet sale area to look at scratch and ding inventory to save some money. Great selection with friendly staff- I am still amazed at how much money I have saved shopping here opposed to some other big box stores that decided randomly that they will get into the appliance game. This vendor is the same one that fills orders for most apartment complexes and new housing in Tulsa, so sometimes you end up finding a real good deal on overstock or as I mentioned earlier- scratch and ding stuff.

Purchased New home with appliances supplied by Metro. Exchanged for upgraded units and added high end Bosch washer/dryer. The Amana side-by-side ($1800) refrig went out within 5 years, Bosch washer had parts breaking off, the Amana Microwave stopped working at 5 years.... AND then found out they had sold us an out of date unit that was manufactured a year earlier and apparently was old inventory.

Cleared my schedule so I could deal with delivery of dishwasher that was bought at Metro. Noone called in advance of delivery and they dropped off the dishwasher, didnt install or take the old one. Not what we signed up for. Would rate 0 stars if I could. People at front desk answering phones were not apologetic. Never do business with them again.

I strongly recommend that you get a new receptionist. I called at 0935 on 10-26-2016. Very cold, rude, and and an attitude of disinterest, as if she was grudgingly doing me a favor. Put me on hold while I was in the middle of a sentence. Dan was very helpfull and professional.
