This shop is amazing! The best way I could describe Lotus Blooms would be that its classy, whimsical, luxurious yet understated, and sophisticated. Everything in the store is arranged in a way such that you feel like youre in a large, fancy closet. No vulgar and/or cheap shrink-wrapped packaging to be found here. If youre looking for cheesy or cheap, this isnt the place to be. The items they carry are great value-wise in terms of the quality you get for the money you pay...but everything they carry is high-quality, so if youre looking for cheap single-use items, this isnt the place to go. Ive been here twice...one of those times was to find a mask for a masquerade party, and found a beautiful lace one that was only ~$25; was super impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The store has educational events, but I havent yet attended one so its hard to speak to those, though the staff were all very knowledgeable but discreet/non-pushy...they give you the space and freedom to browse as you please, and only really talk to you if you approach them first. As far as what the store carries...they carry a wide range of items, from fancy lingerie to standard sex toys to books to kinky accoutrements like whips/collars/handcuffs, etc. Would highly recommend them!

I had an opportunity to work with Teal, the General Manager and Education Coordinator of the store at an event for our organization. She did a PHENOMENAL job teaching and we are sure to have her back again! She is knowledgeable, welcoming and definitely great at what she does. If you are in the area and looking for a great store with wonderful staff and an assortment of toys, apparel and etc..,Lotus Blooms IS the place to go!

Staff posting-- the thing we get told the most is how were "not like other stores" and how right that is! We try so hard to be approachable and informative, inclusive and comfortable. Were specially trained to be health, pleasure, and education-focused. Old Town parking can be tricky so plan your trip before you arrive (the further off King, the better)! The staff are knowledgeable on a great deal of related topics, and unlike some nearby stores, they only carry body safe items. They carry a good variety of high-quality items, and their classes are incredibly informative. Ive been going to sex education conventions fit years and still learned a few things. Its the best place in NoVA to get a sex toy.

A beautiful shop that is so female oriented! I love the ladies who work there who do so much to educate and provide excellent information in an environment that is relaxed, and lovely. The shoes and lingerie are unique and lovely and the toys are displayed tastefully and in a way that invites questions. LOVE this store!

These ladies were great! They are professionals who work tastefully with their product. I didnt feel weird or uncomfortable at all. I wasnt planning on buying anything but they changed my mind:-) They do classes on certain topics as well so I plan on attending one in the future.
