Mastria Subaru Service Department is AMAZING!!! Purchased my first Subaru from another Subaru dealer "N" 30 days ago. It is a used 2014 Subaru Forester. Within the first few days of ownership I found that the car was having some issues with the wheels, tires, etc. Took it back to said dealer more than 7 times over the past several weeks. They replaced the tires, and road forced them, and balanced them, and then replaced more tires suggesting belt issues, etc., however after much wasted time they could not get to the bottom of the issue. (Mind you they chose the brand of the tires!) Losing faith in "N" dealers service dept. I went to Mastria Subaru last week, their techs took the car for a test drive, felt the issue right away and offered a solution. While better, I was still having a bit of an issue with it over the weekend so I went back yesterday - they test drove it again, changed out all the wheels and tires putting the factory model tires on the vehicle, test drove it again, and the ride was like a luxury vehicle. They suggested the crappy (my word not theirs) "new" tires from "N" Dealer do not work well with the Subaru Forester. Unfortunately, I will have to replace the tires at my cost in order to get the ride that is intended. I appreciate that Mastrias service manager and Tech was able to offer a solution and at the very least they gave me peace of mind knowing it is something that can be remedied. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!! I will be servicing my vehicle at Mastria Subaru, I will purchase my next vehicle from them, and I will suggest Mastria to everyone and anyone who is looking to purchase a new vehicle. 30 days in and I had buyers remorse ..until I went to Mastria Subaru. I absolutely loved working with Jerome, he was fantastic. Ahead of time, I had e-mailed what I was looking for and what I expected from the dealership and the sales staff when I arrived. Everything I asked for was in place, including Jerome. He was easy to get along with, didnt rush me nor pressure, which was part of my written expectations prior to my visit. He was ready for my visit, with two cars waiting for me to test drive. Once the negtotiations were complete and I was moved along to finance, again, the person with whom I worked was professional, courteous, and friendly. He knew what he was doing since he had been doing it for many years and he made sure I knew he loved his job. The day came for me to pick up my new Legacy and Jerome met me with his same kind manner, reviewed what I needed to know about the car and off I went. I have since used the service deparment and, again, I am impressed with the genuine kindness of the staff, their thorough explanation of what was done and the ease of getting an appointment. The waiting area is pleasant, with fresh fruit and other snacks available, with fresh coffee, too. I did not have to wait much longer, and sometimes less than the estimated time given to me. All in all, I have absolutely no complaints about Mastria Subaru, quite the opposite, I have reccomended them to everyone, as I have reccomended a Subaru for a valued vehicle. My praises to Jerome and the rest of the Mastria Subaru staff. Thank you to everyone!!! Wendy 1/09/12

After several awful experiences at other Subaru dealerships I made an appointment with Mastria. Wow-you guys are incredible. I submitted an inquiry on a 2009 Forester and had a phone call within the hour! When I entered I was greeted by practically the entire staff (who are all equally sweet) and introduced to my salesman Steven Bishop. What a great salesman and person all around! He located the car, brought it around and said three key words to me: "heres your car." After test driving fourteen other unsatisfying Foresters it went from being a used dealer car that I was merely test driving to "this could be my car." He brought me on a back road and a highway so that I could get a feel for everything. He was extremely patient and very understanding to my many questions and concerns. He even had a Carfax ready and waiting when I walked in. When I made the decision to purchase he kept me updated the entire way! There was not a single point where I was in the dark with what was going on with my new car. They even took care of the sticker and registration. Quick in/ out and it was road ready. No pressure, no hassle, no bologna-are you guys a mirage? Thank you again Steve and Mastria Subaru! I absolutely adore the Forester!

I was in 8/23/17 (today) and I am leaving this review because I am HIGHLY dissatisfied. I had expressed interest in one of your vehicles and read great reviews about your dealership, so I drove over an hour and a half to come to this dealership and had a TERRIBLE experience. Before making the drive I called to see if I would be pre-qualified for the car, the women at the front desk sent me to finance via phone and got pre-qualified. Everything over the phone seemed great but when I actually got to the dealership was when the problems occured. Over the past few weeks I have gone to several dealerships to look at cars and my car has been appraised for 10,000 with a clean car fax in pristine condition, when they appraised my car here they were going to give me $1,500 dollars less and had made it a point that the car MUST have been in an accident because it looked like it had been painted over which for a fact it had not been. Overall, I felt like very shady business was going on at this dealership and needless to say I wasted an entire afternoon coming here. I would suggest if your looking for an honest dealership this is not the one.

After beginning our search at another dealership, where we felt we were not well treated, we were especially pleased with the can do attitude of Alex Lozano and his manager, Christopher Dunn--both delightful and thoroughly knowledgeable individuals. Since we had one month left on a Hyundai lease, we werent sure how to proceed, but they took on my last payment, returned the car and did everything necessary to simplify the entire process. I very much wanted an ORANGE Crosstrek with moon roof and GPS, and one was sitting in the lot just waiting for me! We left with the super-cool Crosstrek and a check for the last Hyundai payment -- since then, weve received a refund check for an overpayment for registration fees; this dealership is very well run. Also, they were kind enough to get Fish and Wildlife plates like the ones I had on the Hyundai--likely this necessitated a longer wait and more paperwork at the RMV. As I said to his manager, our experience with Alex was a 10 from start to finish--we couldnt have been more pleased... and Im actually looking forward to my first oil change! most sincerely, Susan J. I went in for a 15,000 mile service and found that, in addition to this, they had done a four wheel alignment without telling me this. The car tracked perfectly straight before this and it is also a leased car that I will be turning in in about eight months (but now not to this dealership!). When I objected the service rep claimed it was "part of the 15,000 mile service" even though on their own bill the alignment was listed as separate item. The total charge for a relatively minor service was $285, including the unneeded alignment. When I called and asked to talk to the service manager to discuss the situation, I was put through to a number that was never answered. I left a message a was never called back. I had hoped that this sort of "boat payment" approach to service was a thing of the past. Apparently not. The dealership did get in touch with me and refunded my $80 for the un-asked-for alignment. I still think they should be clearer that they consider this part of a standard service, since no other dealership I have ever encountered before in 38 years of car ownership does this.
