I received a letter in the mail stating I would get $100 referral bonus for sending a new customer. I had to laugh. I would NEVER refer anyone to CL. I had an appt with Ray T. When I got there, he was waiting on a customer and had Jason help me. He was cool. The usual "How much are you looking to spend question. I told him and he showed me a car $2,000 more than I said I wanted to spend and nothing I wanted to look at. Funny how when Ray came back, he pointed out the same car in my price range. I didnt say anything. No wonder most of their cars dont have sticker prices on them and you have to call for pricing. If you decide to go to them, make sure they show you in writing their listed price. These salemen will jack up the price on the spots. Long story. I finally, found a car I like. Negotiated a price. Jason comes back with paperwork that was way over the price I was willing to pay for. I left. Ray called to assure me I would get the car at the price I negotiated.God was trying to tell me something then, but trusting Ray I came back. I told Ray it needed to be detailed, there were some scratches I wanted taken care of and one tire on the hubcap was missing the caps that go on the lug nuts. He assured me he would take care of it. After several calls, he never came through. The sad part is that I have known Ray over 13 years. He would call about twice a year to see if I was ready to purchase a car. When I was finally able to purchase one, I called him even though I knew two other people that would have honored their word. My stupidity for not getting it in writing and for trusting someone who I thought was a friend. The truck I bought has been in the shop 4 times. The radio and turning signals have been out for months. What a headache. I dont have money to keep spending on this truck that had less than $80,000 miles on it when I bought it less than a year ago. I will be trading it in probably in the next two months only to start this cat and mice game with car salesmen. I laughed when I got a happy birthday unsigned letter from Ray, "hoping my 1999 stratus is living up to my expectations." I traded that car into CL you idiots. Just beware when dealing with them. They must get these cars at auctions. Look at the real reviews, not the ones the company posts to boost their ratings. You will see about 10 new higher ratings to push mine down. And Ray dont call me now since I have posted this. I thought you were a man of your word, but I was wrong. Your just a typical car salesman out to make a sale.

I purchased a Jaguar from Phil at C & L in November 2012. After driving the vehicle from Louisville to the Northern Ky area, I noticed a burning oil smell. Then the car leaked oil in my garage. I spoke to Steve at (C&L) about the problem. It wasnt addressed until the bank contacted C&L to let them know that my credit application, in which they had me sign, was actually outdated and the bank would not pay C&L their money. So, I told them I would sign the new application once they addressed a few concerns regarding my vehicle. They sent their financial manager Sandy, up to Northern Ky to pick up my car. They did fix the oil leak and addressed a few other issues and I truly appreciate that much. However, when they presented the Car Facts Report...It actually stated the car had never been in a collision. They told me they can only go by what is printed on the report. However, my car has actually been involved in a collision and suffered front end damage. I just had a 2nd person tell me this again. I feel that any knowledgeable mechanic, service rep, lot manager at C&L would had realize this about my vehicle. Currently, my vehicle is in a garage being serviced at my cost. It broke down 2 weeks ago and the mechanic is stating that it has transmission / electrical issues. I feel these issues were hidden from me, starting with the Car Facts Report. So, my advice to any potential customers of C&L... do your OWN homework on any vehicle you intend to purchase from them. Please take your own mechanic with you or take the car you are interested in to a mechanic. Do your own research on the VIN number of the car. The Car Facts Report that I have on my vehicle is INCORRECT and very deceptive. BUYER(S) BEWARE!!! Once you sign on the dotted line.... You are pretty much at their mercy and the mercy of the bank. It is sad that it turned out this way!!!!

Went to C & L on Dixie Highway. Seemed nice and knowledgeable at first, which is typical for a car salesman. The problem came after I drove the truck off the lot. While looking at the truck, I repeatedly brought up two minor things I wanted fixed and prior to leaving, the salesman told me their shop would fix these things pretty easily. Once I called to make an appointment, I was told they never agreed to fix them. I was also told a manager would contact me, which never happened. In addition, the reverse camera doesnt work, yet the pictures of the truck on their website, which I still have, clearly show the camera in working condition. Id like to have what I paid for. How are you not going to fix something that youre advertising and showing as working on your website? They arent interested in fixing it, which is a joke. Hopefully the warranty, which I paid extra for, will cover it. I only received one key for the truck, which has been previously programmed with music volume and speed restrictions. I have to go to a Ford dealership and pay more to program an Admin key just to change the settings on the truck. Absolutely ridiculous. They tell you they want their dealership to be the only place you shop and then treat you like this. Do yourself a favor and head to a different car lot. These people will lie to you, sell you a vehicle and then screw you afterwards. Two stars, but only for the truck, not the car lot. Dont say I didnt warn you.

Would give 0 stars if that were an option. Terrible customer service. They are very unprofessional. Purchased a truck from them and the radio did not work. I was told by the salesman that I could bring it in and they would fix it. I make an appointment for them to fix and and they claim that was never agreed upon. So I had to go to a chevy dealer and pay them. Also they will try typical car dealer shenanigans and will give you the highest interest rate possible. My advice is if you plan to finance then show up with your financing set from a third party and dont let Craig and Landreth play any role in the financing because these guys are swindlers. My biggest complaint is their overall attitude which was apparent in every employee I had to interact with. They make you feel like you are inconveniencing them at every step and they are doing you a favor. Whereas in fact i did them a favor by giving these bums my business. Which I will never repeat and will discourage everyone I know to also avoid.
