Absolutely disgusted by this place. The furniture was overpriced (consignment?), and when my mother and I walked in we were "greeted" by a surly faced young white, blonde woman who would not even look at us. Moments later, a couple of white people walked in and they were greeted with a saccharine "Hi, how may I help you?!?!" We walked by her several more times, once pausing to look at her because we had a question and she avoided eye contact completely. Could not be more obvious that we were unwelcome, and will absolutely never set foot in this place again.

As a long-time patron of Middlebury Consignment, I can say that it is always a pleasure to shop there. I have fairly diverse collecting interests, from fine furniture to antique lighting. Middlebury Consignment has a large and high-quality inventory, insuring I always find something which suits my needs. The staff are great to deal with as well, making excellent recommendations and providing a flawless delivery service. Highly recommended to anyone looking for beautiful items on their next visit to Middlebury.

Not worth the money overpriced but good food and bad service be prepared for hours for waiting with your reserved table for food and drink with a bunch of excuses. Maybe it was understaffed or busy excuses they told me and my wife but it could have been our ethnicity. But better establishments elsewhere in CT with better service. Good luck if you go.

Can certainly attest to a great experience, maybe because the owners were there. An actual mom n’ pop shop, go figure! Some cool pieces in their inventory to browse through and a delicious restaurant that rivals any in the city – the staff was courteous on the restaurant side and furniture side. Recommended!

Main Store: Beautuful setting - BUT sales staff & decorators not nice! Drove to their annex - not one person acknowledged me! As a note: there was a middle aged woman who went out of her way to find me (I was near the chocolate bar) who I was extremely grateful for. Because of her ... I may return.

Middlebury Consignment is a unique experience having both a huge selection of consigned and replica products and a cafe with great food and ambiance. I have been to the location at least a dozen times and have found interesting items I have purchased and always had a great customer service experience.

Piece of advice about this shop: you must go for the food. We’ve never been disappointed by the excellent menu. As a family of 4, I can definitely say the staff are super attentive and everyone can get exactly what they want. Very interesting atmosphere because their is antique furniture everywhere!

It doesnt sound like much of a restaurant, but we had a very good experience when we came here over the weekend. Our server was super nice. We sat outside next to a fountain. The food is mainly sandwiches and salads and it is all very hearty. You will definitely walk away full.

Great surprise. Terrific food. Our waitress Denise was friendly and cheerfully accommodated our special requests . I had a quinoa stuffed acorn squash last fall that was memorable. Who would expect this quality at a consignment venue!!
