My wife and I are in town visiting from Florida and decided to simply go grocery shopping and went to Lowes in Jamestown...and holy cow what an experience!!!! Besides the different sections of the market..Beer Den, Sausage Works, Cakery etc...the management and staff exemplified quality customer service. They were so incredibly hospitable to us because we were in disbelief how nice everyone is, the quality of product available and how clean the store is. Thanks to the great team of people..Don, Carly, Brandon, and all the other workers, we ended up talking to..this grocery store experience was absolutely the best. We were educated on the variety of beers at the Beer Den by Carly which she was so extremely knowledgeable about her craft. Then Brandon, the chef at Sausage Works was great at his recommendations of the sausages and again incredibly friendly. And to top off our grocery experience was talking with Don..the manager. This guy could make u laugh if u were in the worst mood!! He had us sample chicken wings, cookies from the Cakery, and sausages....but thats not it!!! He introduced us to the Chicken Dance! He and his team got together and did a dance in the middle of the store!! We absolutely enjoyed ouselves there and ended up staying longer than expected. This is not your ordinary shopping market. This is a THEME PARK!! But we love how every person working enjoyed what they do and it sure did show!!! Its a shame that Florida doesnt have anything like this!! Congrats to Lowes for hiring such great employees. The quality of product is exemplary, customer service is off the charts. Whoever reads this review and u are in the area..u must stop and experience the incredible team of people here. Thank you Don, Carly and Brandon...we will always remember this experience and will be back next time we are in N.C!!!!

Absolutely love this store!! Me and Husband started coming here at the beginning of this year when I was still pregnant and we have been coming every since. Just now we bring our 9 months old baby girl and my mom and her husband. Everytime we have came even if its just me and my mom or all of us, we have an great experience! Well except for the one time we brought meat and in 3 days time it was bad, but this store took very good care of us for the problem. We only come here for the fresh deli meats, cheese and the variety of baby food. Oh and I cant leave out my Favorites like Mahi Mahi and The Beer Den! But this last time we came One employee went over and beyond with her costumer service. Her name is Cece and she works in the deli section where she provided excellent customer service. She was personal and friendly with me, my mother and even my sweet baby girl Lily. She was very knowledgeable about the different meats and cheese, and made great suggestions. She was very patience with me and my mom as we decided which meats where best. She even suggested Miso Soup from the sushi section! She was a breath of fresh air with her wonderful personality. Keep Up the Great work Lowes and hire more people like her. Me and my family will return and we hope we run into her again! ......P.S The Teriyaki Chicken was Amazing and the Miso Soup is the best! If you would like a grocery store than has the best customer service, then this is the right one! I have walking into many grocery stores (and others) and not a single person speak to me until I got to the register. Here, every single time an associate past by we were greeted and asked if we needed anything. I signed up for Lowes Rewards Card while I was there and was helped by an associate who was busy doing paperwork (assuming a manager of some sort), but she stopped and took the time to assist me. The Bakery Department was so friendly when my 2 year old asked for a cookie and said thank you back. She had a smile across her face the whole time. Once we got to the meat department we were assisted immediately and even received some cooking tips (I tend to dry out my pork chops, he he). The rest of the time we just keep getting greeted. By the time we got to the check-out lane, Regena was so friendly! She had helped me previously so I wanted to go to her lane to get her excellent customer service! I am beyond happy with my shopping experience today! Thank you, Lowes Foods of Jamestown, NC! I will now drive over 12 miles to this location instead of 3 to a competitors store!

Prices have definitely increased since the store has been remodeled and we only come here when there are good sales on things we need. The new store looks fantastic and we love the Beer Den. The produce is a much better selection than the Food Lion in Jamestown, but when it comes to things like cake mix, Food Lion is about .30-.50 cents cheaper. Ill buy my fresh items here and my pantry items elsewhere.

I was visiting from Ohio and needed a Lowes loyalty card...they were out. The girl I spoke to at customer service seemed to be ok with that and wasnt going to do anything about us missing out savings. Luckily my cashier realized the opportunity to step it up, and used hers, apologised to us and quickly recovered what was about to be a poor experience into a decent (but a bit awkward) one.

I cant thank the women at Lowes To Go (Guilford College Rd.) enough for all their help getting my order completed!!! I was a first time user of this service and somehow mixed up my pick up store, the ladies straightened everything out, called me when order was ready and delivered groceries to my car...polite, understanding, efficient....wish there were more than 5 stars to select!!!!

EMPRESSED IS ALL I CAN SAY! This store has the greatest selection. Perfectly spotless. I believe the Lady that helped check me out- her name is Carole. I have just moved here - tired- not familiar with the store. She just went the whole 100 yds. She was why I will only go there now. Plus everyone was friendly - and this is an awesome grocery store!

This place is like the Disneyland of food stores. The place is clean and well organized. The staff is very friendly. The sausage department is amazing. Each department has a theme and cute display. Some are even interactive! You can even but beer and wine by the glass to sip while you shop! The carts all have cup holders!

The store is a mess. No organization at all, quality is only mediocre at best in grocery, meat and produce are great but way over priced. All I can say about the deli is dont eat there I watch Bev drop chicken on the floor and put it right in the fryer. I left and will never come back, just cant get worse then that.

The recent remodel seemed to include new emphasis on customer service. All staff are very helpful. I had trouble getting an item to scan in self-checkout & an employee quickly & cheerfully took care of the problem. Huge contrast with Harris Teeter at Adams Farm, where they dont give a damn.

They have a great bakery department with good Breads and excellent cakes. They sell a fresh produce with a fresh salad bar. They have excellent fresh made sausages and a wide array of flavors and styles. They have a wide array of locally main food products. The prices are fairly reasonable.
