Shopping here is the worst. The employees are never around to help and when you finally do find someone they are very rude. I managed to shop the entire store one day without a greeting from a single employee-not even the cashier at checkout! The produce has drastically gone downhill. The watermelon, strawberries, and blueberries I just bought here were all terrible and had to be thrown away. Very limited selection of organic and natural products. Their "wild caught" fish is all from China and Russia. Gross! No makeup and limited beauty products and vitamins. Only use plastic bags. When you ask them to use reusable bags or paper bags they give you a "Im going to kill you look." Get with the 21st Century, Giant Eagle. Do you care at all about our planet? Forget about returns. They never honor their policy of "double your money back". Hire some decent people who are friendly.

A great place to buy groceries. Great selection and fair prices. The staff is friendly and helpful. Gary the manager greets people by name and thanks them for their business. The pharmacy staff is one of the most professional that Ive ever dealt with. From the deli, bakery, meat/seafood, and fresh foods departments to the Cafe; they have everything that I need or want. With numerous places to shop at, the Slippery Rock Giant Eagle is my home town supermarket!

Small town grocery store. Great for every day necessities, but if youre looking for something out of the norm, drive the extra distance to the larger Giant Eagle in Cranberry Township.

This is the only grocery store in Slippery Rock. They have a decent selection but the prices are high. They do sell beer and food in the cafe so that is cool.

High prices and short expiration dates. Most food only lasts a few days after buying. Some food is moldy as soon as you get it home.
