I called Hollink to inquire about a bike over the phone. I work in Sales, and I have very little time to make it out to a dealership. I did my research and knew what I wanted, so I was looking to buy a bike over the phone (2012 Honda 250 with over 5K miles on it listed for $2,999.) I called, when asking the "salesman" if the bike has ever been down before, his response was, "I dont know, probably.".. Uh... Ok? You would think they would know about the bikes they take in on trade.. I gave an offer over the phone, and they didnt even entertain it. Told me no, you have to come in. This is with them knowing I do not want to come in, I know what I want. I said okay, thanks, and I hung up. I know some establishments want to try and get someone in the door if they can, but with this day & age with all the technology, most consumers know what they want, have called around to other places and dont want to play the "come on in and we can talk about it" game. I call back to talk to the owner to explain the situation. Turns out the "salesman" I talked to WAS THE OWNER! He still stood by how he treated the situation and I then told him thank you, I will not be buying anything from your establishment. Long story short, 20 minutes later I made a call to Arkport Cycles. They had the exact year, make, and model as Hollink did, with the SAME list price, but with only 157 MILES on it!!! Arkport knew my situation, I gave them an offer, we came to an agreement and I am picking up my bike Wednesday from Arkport. Sad an owner of an establishment doesnt know his inventory and treats customers that way, (clearly not listening to their needs.) Hoping they can adapt to this new market and consumer behavior. Its unfortunate I couldnt support a local business as they clearly did not want the opportunity to earn mine.

I walked in to Hollink as a first time motorcycle buyer. I was given a quote on a used bike and I gave it some thought overnight. I walked back in the next day and I claimed it as mine! The staff is very friendly. I was expecting a salesman to run up to your face and try to sell a bike. But no, the environment is very relaxed. I was not bothered as I window shopped. I then got the attention of a salesman and he gladly listened to the description of a bike that I desired. He did not disappoint as he starting naming inventory off the top of his head (I later found out that he is the owner!). He only showed me bikes in my price and spec range, which led me to the used Honda that I proudly own now. The store is pretty big. The show floor is simple but the garage goes down the block with a large variety of different bikes and 4 wheelers. Nice little place. Cant say much about the gear shop. I did walk around for a bit but didnt buy any accessories. Many thanks to Mr Hollink himself and his crew. Very friendly and respectful, I got the quote the day before and the price stayed the same the day after once I bought it. I havent been back since, but I definitely will be back for winterizing accessories once the time comes. I do recommend buying here. I will update my post if I ever take my bike to the service shop or if I buy form the gear shop.

Purchased a 2013 Bike this past week. I emailed and asked about the bike I wanted, then the owner emailed me back and said they just got it in. I stopped in the next day, and Mr. Hollink said they had it but it was not put together yet. He took me out to the warehouse with a flashlight so I could at least get a look. I asked if he would let me know when it was ready to see, and he emailed me a couple days later. I went out, checked it out, he gave me a fair price, 1000 less than in Arkport, and I bought it. Note,, I did not test ride it, but the last 3 bikes I purchased did not allow test rides either, and they were at different deals, so this did not put me off. I told him I wanted a new jacket, and he told the guy at the counter to give me 15% off anything I bought. not bad, I got a helmet and jacket. saved another 100 bucks. Also I asked if he would put the SA2 cord for a battery charger on, and I had the charger. They did, no charge. I have never found them to be good sales people, but I really think they have more people who want the bikes and service, than there are places to get it. I would not say they were bad sales people either. When I asked, they made time for me, responded to my emails, and gave me a decent deal.

Dont Know what these poor reviews are about! I have been a customer for 25 years or so both as a kid and now as an adult. In the past 4 years I have bought 3 brand new machines and lots of parts, and had service. The price I pay for the the machines is the best you will find. "the old man" is Bill Hollink, the owner. He is always there for any question I have and is a straight shooter. No, he does not hunt you down as some people might like when you walk in the door but I dont consider that a weakness but rather a sales technique that works for him and me as well. He is there every day and knows his stuff. I am in this store 3 or 4 times a month and look forward to every trip. I have had my three new machines in for their 20 hour service and never waited 24 hours for completion. The office and parts people are there with help anytime and just today I was behind the parts counter with the tech just to make sure we got it all right. Try that at another place. These guys are great, and I will be buying another one very soon. I live up the road in Hilton, Don S

Went in twice over the last week to talk to a sales person about purchasing a new Honda motorcycle. I was pre-aproved by Honda for a loan. The first time I went in, I couldnt find a sales person so I asked a nice lady behind the counter. She said shed send someone over. 20 min later, no one, so I thought Id come back on a weekday when they werent so busy. Stopped in today and talked to an older gentleman who was polite but clearly not interested in making a sale. Then I informed him that I would like to purchase the bike, as long as the test ride went well. He starred of into the distance as he told me they dont do test rides, even with cash in hand or pre-aproved financing. I asked how he expected anyone to buy a bike without insuring proper fit (important for a bike) and he told me people shouldnt worry about a test ride, you can just buy one. At that point I thanked him for his time and decided never to waste my time there again. Only positive is they have descent inventory and prices.
