Bought furniture here about 18 months ago. Sofabed, Loveseat, coffee table, dining table w/stools & some area rugs. The sales people were super friendly... Amazingly helpful! I thought I was making a terrific purchase. On delivery day, they called me and told me that the dining table I ordered was damaged and it was the last in stock so my choices were to wait indefinitely for them to get more in (they didnt know how long it would be) take a similar style table that cost the same (but wasnt at all as nice) or pay 100 bucks more for the next closest priced table in the style I had chosen. I settled cause I needed a table and didnt have an extra hundred bucks to fork over. When they delivered the furniture the loveseat and couch were the wrong color. The delivery guys told me I had to call customer service. When my kids pulled out the sofabed, we discovered it was broken. When I called customer service they had to send out a tech first. Waited a day or two for him to come out and tell them exactly what I did. Then a day or so more, they finally came and switched out my couches. Since then I have had to basically put this rickety dining room table back together twice because the screws keep coming out. And even with them tightened, its all wobbly. My coffee table sags in the middle because of the cheap, thin metal its constructed from. Then a couple months ago the frame of my loveseat broke. I have a 2 or 3 year warranty so I called about it. They sent out a tech to look at it then called and told me they wouldnt cover it because it wasnt a defect but rather "heavy use" that caused the frame to break. When I asked what kind of use, heavy or otherwise, could break a frame and springs in like 4 different places she couldnt tell me. She would only state that the wood didnt have any knots and wasnt split so they arent responsible, however, I could pay them $200 (just about 60 bucks shy of the initial cost of the loveseat)to have it repaired. I told her they lost my repeat business & that I am going to stop recommending them to my friends & family. Her response was, "Thats fine maam." Im just going to trash this crap and get new furniture. But never again from AFW. My Momma always told me you get what you pay for. I learned my lesson with these jokers.

Five gold stars for American Furniture sales professional representative James Sanchy, he is the best experienced sales professional ever. James not only greeted me politely, James sat down with me, we discussed my vision for furniture design for my new luxury apartment. James not only heard my vision of furniture style, and design, he put my design in motion. I mentioned to James I am moving into a new luxury apartment, I want everything new. James pulled up the web address of my new apartment, and pulled up the floor plan, and then he activated he American Furniture room planner app, and on his iPad he showed me my vision with the perfect furniture, and design. James walked with me, show cased the furniture in the room like a true professional. James first choice of furniture for my vision was a beautiful soft deep chocolate chaise, and when I say its everything, it is everything, and when I laid down on the soft chaise I fell in love. The chocolate, durable, soft relaxing sofa was everything for me. James understood the appreciation of coming home from a long day of work, and putting your feet up on something comfortable. James made the entire experience a great one. When James and I finish picking the furniture I wanted in the living room, James also showed me the dining table I wanted and I looked all online for and only James found it in his show room. James also showed me a beautiful dark wood sofa bar to match my dark wood kitchen cabinets (Open concept). James showed me two side tables I liked, he also showed me a really nice element feature, a fire place sound bar. I love the entire furniture package James showed me. A total package, really a great deal comes with 12 month warranty for all the furniture purchased. Delivery to my apartment on April 17th , and I am so excited to move in with the best furniture I could ever envisioned, at an incredibly competitive price . Awesome job James. Very, very impressed. I wanted new living room furniture for the holidays, and somebody told me about this store. Its nowhere near where I live, but figured Id give it a shot. And glad I did! HUGE showroom with a seemingly endless selection of tables, chairs, loveseats and couches...as well as rugs, lights, pictures and other wall hangings, and other decor. So much to choose from! And I had very specific needs. I needed an extra long and extra deep couch and loveseat set (Im 64...I needed something I can stretch out on). They had it brand new and in stock! I browsed the showroom floor for about 45 minutes before I asked a salesperson for help. I was quite pleased that during that first 45 minutes the salespeople werent coming at me like filthy leeches. Although I was asked a couple times if I needed anything. So that was good. They paid me some attention but didnt overdo it. Then when I finally did ask for help, the lady (a Minnesota native like me) was helpful, informative, knowledgeable, not pushy, and most importantly...patient. I bought my couch and loveseat set and wanted it asap. So I opted to use one of their trucks and deliver it myself. I thought this was a pretty cool option. I dont have access to a truck, so for $20 you can rent one of theirs. The one they gave me was a nice, clean, newer Chevy. They dont charge for fuel or mileage. They give you the first 75 minutes for 20 bucks. But the guy in the warehouse was cool and spotted me another 10-15 minutes. And since I was doing this on a Friday during rush hour, that was a huge help. The warehouse crew was very professional and friendly. Even the warehouse was shiny and extremely clean!! Impressive. The crew at the counter just inside the warehouse was awesome. They gave us free water and soda. And again, the people on the main floor were great. I normally dont write reviews. But with such a great experience as this, I felt they definitely deserve it. 5 star rating all day long.

Dont buy mattresses from this place!!!! We got ours less than a year ago and it is sunken by two inches in the middle. They sent a guy out to inspect it and they confirmed it was defective and that they would replace it. They told us to come into the store and buy a new mattress and they we would pay for the difference in cost. When they came to replace the mattress they refused to accept it because of the tiniest stain in the middle. Now, the warranty DOES say that any stain will void the warranty but how unfair, it is a policy that covers their butt if they sell you a low quality piece of garbage that doesnt even last a year. They already admitted that the mattress was defective by agreeing to replace it, but they busted out a mag light to try and spot any reason they could find to not help us replace it. They spotted the faintest stain and refused to replace it at all. Let me be clear, Im not mad they didnt replace the mattress, Im mad that they agreed to do it and then went back on their word at the last minute. Im mad that they sold us a faulty product and then weezled their way out of standing by their product. Im mad that they disrespected us and wasted our time. I called the corporate office and asked why they wouldnt replace the mattress. They said that the manufacture need to ensure they are in perfect condition before they are shredded. Thats right, they insult my intelligence by saying they will destroy the mattress but only if they can ensure it has no stains first. Im not sure why they couldnt just meet me in the middle with at least a partial discount or something, we spent thousands in that store in the past. What was the point of losing a customer over something so dumb? Anyways, I learned my lesson. Dont buy from a cheap store that wont stand behind their products. Trust me, Its much better to just buy from someone who sells higher quality merchendise
