Update: As mentioned in #1 Cochrans reply, I emailed them my feedback. FOUR months have gone past without a response! And if you read my review below, you will see why this is no surprise.. This is a true story. To anyone interested in buying a vehicle from #1 Cochran in Robinson: STOP! Do yourself a favor and keep shopping. I purchased a certified pre-owned Equinox this past November and had nothing but problems. The customer service is deplorable (unless you enjoy being taken advantage of), and their pricing and trade-in offers will leave you in regret. If this isnt convincing enough, let me give you a high-level overview of my experience. #1. Value Rating: 1/10 Before going to the dealer, I looked up the trade-in value of my car on KBB. Sure enough, they offer me over $3k less than what I should expect. Right away I should have left, but I really wanted that Equinox. I tried negotiating a fairer trade-in for about an hour and got it within $2k of what I should have received before giving up. They worked really hard to give me the least amount possible. Sadly, that was the only thing that impressed me that night. Ive purchased a handful of vehicles before, and each time I was able to get the dealers to come down on the pricing, but not these people! They refused to budge. I was hoping Id be able to have it balance the low trade-in offer. I left the place losing $2k on my trade-in and paying sticker price for my new-used car. Whatever, its over now, right? Wrong. This is where the customer service took a drastic turn for the worse. #2. Customer Service Rating: -5/10 (Yes, thats a negative 5) I was promised 2 keys before purchasing the car. AFTER I signed all the papers, including the blank "We Owe You.." form, he tells me he cannot find the second key. He promises me hell find it and mail it to me in the next few days. I called him about it weeks later and he told me it was in the mail. A month later, I call again, but this time he says that the previous owner was supposed to bring it back and never did. Then he promised to order a new one and mail it. I made several attempts after that, in email and in person, and received nothing. During my last visit, I asked to see the Manager, but he was busy at the time, so I got redirected to my original salesman again, solving nothing for me. Its been 9 months now, and I have finally given up. #3. Product Quality: 5/10 The "certified" pre-owned car had a signed checklist of everything that was inspected, which is a joke. After noticing a funky smell in the car, I discovered that the cabin air filter was completely black and covered in dirt, as though it had never been changed. I pulled out the Certified checklist and what do you know, it says that the filter was "Serviced!" This misinformation leaves me wondering if the car was even checked over in the first place, or if the whole thing is just a con. What else could be wrong? Whats the point of buying certified if they dont actually inspect it?! I go back to visit Michael Webster, showing him the dirty air filter and the signed checklist. He tells me hell look into it, and of course, I never heard from him again. Surprise! That was 4 months ago. Ive tried contacting him several times, mostly through email using the same email address that he was able to receive important documents about my trade-in from his cell phone the night I purchased the car. Funny how that works. Conclusion: I presume youre reading this because you are interested in purchasing a car from #1 Cochran in Robinson. If value, customer service, and product quality mean anything to you, stay clear of this dealer. This is my 5th time purchasing a car, and by far the worst experience yet.

Vehicle was dropped off Sunday night for Monday 6:30 a.m. appointment. After calling twice on Monday and not receiving a call back, I decided to call again at 5:30 p.m. I was then told my vehicle had not been looked at. I then insisted on a rental vehicle as I had not had time to make other arrangements. Three calls were necessary, along with a conference between the rental agency, Cochran, and myself to confirm the rental authorization. While on the conference, the Cochran employee was extremely rude to the call center rental representative and she must have thought she was on mute because she continued to complain about her while on hold. I should have known what I was in for when the rental agency confirmed the lack of organization at this garage. Vehicle was not looked at until Tuesday late afternoon and the only reason I knew was because I called them again. (still no call) The following is an assumption, but I would believe my vehicle was passed over because it would have been a warranty repair and the shop would not make as much money as with other appointments. I must have made 8 calls to the shop over the next few days, including a message to the manager that was never returned, until I could get a clear answer on what was going on with my vehicle. I finally was told the problem with my transmissions had been identified, transmission module was ordered and would be repaired Thursday. I was not called to pick up my vehicle until the following Wednesday. Upon noticing the transmissions issue was still occurring, and that I did not receive paperwork when picking up my vehicle, I called back. I was then told that the transmission module was never replaced and instead it was an entirely different control module. When asked about the transmission issue which was the main reason for the appointment, I was told a noise was never identified. I have never experienced a more unorganized business.

If I could give a 0 i ABSOLOUTLY would I bought a 2007 Ford F-150 July of 2016 for 16k and I came back a year later (this year) to get my yearly inspection & emissions and to possibly do a trade in for a smaller vehicle and they told me its only worth $7,500. So I told him I was definitely ripped off. Then he told me its impossible to get ripped off here, yet my car decreased in value over $7,000 in a little less than one year! So he then started to get in my face and shook my hand very aggressively and squeezing harder and harder raising his voice yelling at me being very rude and obscene then his old man buddy with the cane came over and they started to gang up on me so I just walked away. I then went to check on my truck to see how much longer it would be until it was done and they HADNT EVEN STARTED IT mind you i got there at 9:30am and this was 11:45am when I went to check they took my truck back immediately when I got there at 9:30 as well!!!! So I took my truck and called to file a complaint and spoke with Tim he directed me to Kia sales to help me he was great and so was Matt Ross and Dave they honestly tried to help me but the only option was to pay $26,500 for a basic package Kia Forte!!! I would be losing out on around $6,000. So I did not get out of there until 2:30 and left with the overpriced rip off truck anyway. To sum it up YOU WILL GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AT #1 COCHRAN OF ROBINSON AND ROBBED BLIND THEN WHEN YOU NEED HELP THEY TURN THEIR BACKS ON YOU!! I do not come from money nor do I have alot of money I work 9-5 m-f and live paycheck to paycheck and am now in a very tough situation. FYI JUSTIN TAYLOR IS THE SALESMAN THAT ROBBED ME HE NO LONGER WORKS THERE SO IM SURE HES AT A NEW PLACE BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU COME ACROSS HIM.... THIEVES IS WHAT THESE PEOPLE ARE. AND THAT TALL MANLY LOOKING "LADY" that works in service assistance is very rude and disrespectful!
