This was my first new car purchase. I knew I wanted a 2017 Fusion Hybrid and I found it at the Autonation Ford Valencia dealership. I had no problems with the price or financing. The trouble started as soon as I signed the paperwork. I paid to have a feature added to the car and was told if I signed the paperwork that day Friday (11/18) I would able to pick the car up on Monday (11/21). But the sales people did not know how to make it happen, nor seem to care. Over the span of a week and a half (purchased 11/18, finally received 11/30) I was promised the vehicle multiple times, and each time I was met with a new excuse for why it wasnt ready. On Friday 11/25 when I told the salesman I was dealing with (Maher) Id be coming to get the car after already being promised it on 3 separate occasions, he told me it would be ready to go. When I arrived, I was met by a salesman named Trenton (another salesman involved in the deal). A feature in my car was not installed that I had paid for and I asked why after nearly a week my vehicle was not ready. He responded by saying he was doing his best but was losing out on other sales because he was dealing with me. He told me they were working on getting the part and would let me know when I could come back to get it installed. Then I was allowed to leave. I hadnt realized it but Trenton did not put the temporary registration on the windshield. When I called to address the issue, he asked me to drive the vehicle back. I could not do that without the registration. The sales manager Steve Jones (whom had made the original promise date of 11/21) had to get on the phone and ended up driving the registration to my home. When he arrived he told me I could bring the vehicle in on Monday (11/28) and pick it up on Tuesday (11/29). When I mentioned I would be writing a review on Yelp in regards to this business deal, he begged me to leave a positive review with the Ford survey as it affects his income. On 11/28 I received a call from Maher 30 minutes before Im to arrive at the dealership to make sure Id be there on time to meet with him. I assured him I would and made it to the dealership 10 minutes ahead of schedule. 30 minutes after our agreed appointment time and I find out Maher went on a test drive with another customer. Steve Jones needed to get involved again just to ensure my vehicle would be taken care of. I was told Id be given a rental car and was placed on a shuttle over to Enterprise. On the shuttle, I spoke with other Autonation Ford customers who had similar issues dealing with this dealership (I even found one of their reviews on Yelp) On 11/29 when I called to ask if my vehicle was ready, I was unable to reach the service department. It took 3 calls to them and 1 to Maher for someone to finally tell me the car would not be ready as promised. When I asked for Steve to speak about the issue; I was told he had the day off. It took the involvement of the General Manager Chance Corbit to get my vehicle taken care of. I asked for Chance to call me so I could tell him about this whole experience and he hasnt reached out to me since. After this ordeal, I will never return to Autonation Ford of Valencia for maintenance let alone a new vehicle. I will be sure to warn my friends and family in the market for a new car the kind of service they can expect from this dealership. I lost countless hours at work and gallons of gas driving back and forth to the dealership and I ended up being apologized to more than I was ever thanked for my business.

This was the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had!!!! I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. From the Internet sales rep Steve Lewis to the Finance person Ty Woods I have never dealt with such dis-honest, self-serving people. They wouldn’t accept my Capital One Blank Check (this is a pre-approval with Capital One) because they told me Capital One declined me. They were so kind as to find me a bank that would finance me that was of course through their finance department… How convenient! They made me feel like an absolute looser! Like they were doing me a big favor and I should be so lucky!!! When I called Capital One to find out why I was decline since I was already approved with a blank check I was told that they had declined an application from AutoNation Ford because I already had an approved application with them and they weren’t going to approve 2 applications for the same person with the same car! I was told by Capital One that they did that so I would see the supposed decline and use their available financing… at a higher rate I might add. Steve the sales person knew nothing about the car he was trying to sell me (it’s a good thing I had already done all of the research myself) and had me come back to the dealership twice. This should have been my first clue! Ty Woods NEVER listened to me. I live in a small mountain community where the only way to get mail is at the Post Office via a PO Box. The USPS doenst even recognize our street address and I had to provide a utility bill to show my physical street address. I re-iterated several times that all correspondence should be sent to the PO box. The PO Box is our mailing address, and we do not get mail at home! 2 months later Im still waiting for my license plates and registration… Why? Because they sent my physical address to the DMV and the DMV mailed my plates and registration to my home address which technically doesn’t exist with the USPS so they were returned to the DMV!!!! I will never go back!!! Please think twice about buying a car with AutoNation Ford Valencia if you want a good car buying experience. If you’re looking for a horrible customer service experience with lying and cheating than this is the place for you!

This service department is the worst one I have ever seen. In August 2016, I made a service appointment for the low tire pressure message that seemed to appear too often. When the message appeared, I did not see any obvious tire abnormality by visual inspection, so the car was still drivable. The appointment was scheduled to 10/8/2016. I waited two months and hoped the service department would take care of that message. During this two month wait period, I was able to fill up the tires with air to get rid of the message. It could last several weeks before next time the message showed up. The bottom line is although it is hassle to inflate the tires to get rid of the message, the car was still drivable. On 10/8/2016, I sent my car to the dealer. I was told there was a nail in the sidewall of one tire and it was not repairable. They recommended to replace it with a new one. I decided not to replace it as I had been driving this car as was for more than one year. This problem was there ever since I bought this 2015 Ford Fusion from this dealer last year. Even though I did not have any proof, but I did think this nail could be in that tire even before I bought this car. I drove my car back home after declining to replace the tire. On my way home, the message showed up. I thought this would be another time like so many other times the tire air pressure was slightly lower than the threshold to trigger the message, but the tire could still be drivable. To my surprise, when I got home, I found the tire was completely flat. Now the car is not drivable. I sent my car to the dealer asking them to fix the low tire pressure message. I did not ask them to destroy my car. I had been driving this car as was for more than one year, but immediately after I sent my car to the dealer, the car was not drivable completely. I understood the dealer wanted me to buy a new tire for whatever reason for their business, but they should do their business in a decent way, not in a dishonest and tricky way.
