I Had Recently Bought Another Honda And It Needed Little Fixes. I Came Here Despite My Gut Telling Me Not No. The Person Advising Me This Time Was David. I Told Him I Wanted A Diagnostic Of What The Light Being On Was. It Was The ABS Light And The Check Engine Light. One Thing I Made Sure Of Was To Let Him Know That I Didnt Want A Single Bolt Or Nut Removed Without Me Knowing It. I Explained The Issue I Had Last Time And Again Repeated That Nothing Be Adjusted Without My Permission. One More Thing I Instructed Was That I Didnt Want A Phone Call Telling Me What Else Needed To Be Done. If I Didn Ask For It Dont Inform. I Asked How Much The Diagnostic Would Be For Those Two Lights And I Was Told 200$. Unless Im Mistaken A Diagnostic Cost 130$. He Went On To Tell Me That Since Its Two Seperate Lights Its Two Seperate Issues. Something About It Seemed Weird But I Wanted To Know The Issue And I Was Desperate So I Left My Car There To Know The Cause Of The Light. The Next Day I Get A Call And The Very Thing I Didnt Want To Hear Is What I Was Told. My Car Needed Brakes, Tires And Who Knows What Else. I Go On To Ask About The Issues That I Was Interested In And Although I Received An Answer I Was Not In Shape Content With What I Heard. The Reason For My Check Engine Light Being On Was Due To An Oil Leak That I Wasnt Aware. However The Diagnostics Fee Would Not Go Towards Fixing It As It Was A Seperate Issue From The Actual Light Being On. This In No Way Makes Sense To Me. How Is That I Have To Pay Extra To Have The Oil Leak Fixed In Order To Get The Light To Stay Of. If The Oil Is The Cause Then It Would Make Sense To Put The Diagnostic Fee Towards Fixing The Leak. Had I Known That Was The Issue I Wouldve Just Said Find Out Where The Leak Is From. Im Not A Mechanic So Its Not As If I Could Diagnose It Myself. The Next Issue I Had Is That I Couldnt Seem To Get A Hold Of David. Whoever Is In Charge Of Answering The Phone Isnt Very Good At Passing On Messages. I Had To Go To Te Dealer To Find Out What The Delay In Responding To Me. Arriving At The Dealer I Find David And I Asked What The Cause Of The Emergency Lights Not Turning On Was. He Claimed That It Was A Small Issue And That It Was Taken Care. As For The Oil Leak I Got A Quote Close To 800$ To Fix. Not Worth It If You Ask Me. I Received The Parts Number And Was Able To Find Them For WAY Cheaper Than What The Dealer Wanted To Charge Including The Labor. The Thing That Pissed Me Of The Most Was That I Called This Dealer Several Times To Let Them Know That I Wanted To Pick Up My Car And No One Wouldve Answer. I Had To Go The Dealer Again And Tell Them In Person That I Want My Car. I Wasted Both Time And Money Having To Do This For A Second Time. It Took A Day And A Half For Me To Finally Pick Up My Car After It Had Been Sitting There For 3 Weeks. Finally I Had My Car. I Got Curious And Decided To See If What Was Done, The Electrical Issue, Had Been Taken Care Of Like I Was Told. Sure Enough They Didnt Turn On After I Was Told It Was Taken Care Of. Two Bad Experiences And Ive Had It With This Place. They Do Not Hold Up To Their Word.

I waited several minutes for a rep to attend to me. The rep was fixating back-and-forth and checking up his computer. Few minutes later he told me he was not on a clock. He could have excuse himself. And not making me just stand and wait for him to say something. No common courtesy. After the oil change, the alignment was messed up. The steering wheel were vibrating/shaking when the car reaches to speed of 50 and above mph. And the break-pad-connected-bar makes squeaky noise when press. My van come out with few mechanism problem after the car service. The vehicle was never have any issues (except for automatic door is stocked/sticky. Wont open. which is a preexisting) before it was send into the mechanic. Ive requested them to fix the automatic door and left the car overnight so they can fix it the following day. I came to pickup the car in that day afternoon and tested it. The right sliding door has been fixed as expected. But few days later, the door mechanism has stopped working. And the above issues was never fixed. They have exhausted so much of my time already about this none sense car issues that I suspect it was done deliberately. I stoped calling and bringing my car to them as they have already wasted too much of my time because of previous maintenance service that I waited for 2 hrs and an additional 2 hrs to find out what was wrong with the steering wheels, alignments, and squeaky breaks. This Vista Honda Ventura and Oxnard Honda car services are alike. They ripped me off. The DCH Honda of Oxnard removed the rubber pipe of my van connected into the air filter box without my authorization then they asks me for a minimal fees for replacing it back. I can sense a total scum. I immediately demanded for reinstatement of said pipe. I postpone my business with them and left unhappy. I never came back to DCH since 2011. Now the Vista Honda Ventura did exactly the same thing. Ripping me off. Both locations have absolutely lose my trust. THERE MECHANICS ARE DISHONEST. VERY DISHONEST. Will seek another honda car services in thousand oaks. Start a new location. Let see what happens.

I purchased a new 2012 Honda CR-V a few days ago and couldnt be happier with my purchase or the customer service at Vista Honda. This is the 3rd CR-V Ive owned, and all 3 have been purchased at Vista, so Ive obviously been happy enough to come back several times. I was turning in my previous leased CR-V and wanted to discuss my options. I was shown all of the pricing options and I felt really comfortable that I wasnt being pressured one way or the other. I knew what I was comfortable paying per month, and was more than happy with the end result. Then it came to picking my car... I was admittedly very picky about what I wanted in the vehicle, specifically color. The color and model I wanted was not available at Vista so the salesman began making calls to other dealerships to try and find one. When it was looking like they might not be able to get one, the salesman told me that I should get what I really had my heart set on, even if that meant that I needed to wait awhile for one to come in. When would you ever expect to hear that at a car dealership?? After a few more calls, they ended up being able to locate one and told me that I could come in the next day to sign paperwork and pick it up. I received a call the next day right when it arrived and was being washed. I arrived, drove my new car and signed all of the paperwork within an hour. The salesman made sure that I was comfortable with the car, showing me how to sync my phone and become familiar with the new features that were not in my previous model. I also noted how friendly many of the other salesman were who I didnt even happen to be working with. Many of them congratulated me on my new purchase. Thank you to Lincoln Flores, Ahmed Karimi and Lee Robison for such a pleasant and hassle-free experience! It can be a somewhat intimidating process to be a young woman walking onto a car lot by herself. Each time Ive visited Honda Ive had a great experience and will continue to recommend them to others.
