After looking at other dealerships, I called Hunter Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram to inquire about a particular truck I saw online. After explaining how far I would be coming in from, the salesman (David Fuentes) ensured that he would take care of me once I arrived. After driving in an hour to visit the dealership, David greeted me at the door with the vehicle I inquired about cleaned and ready to show. His hospitality during my visit and his vast knowledge of the 2016 Ram Sport he was showing me was impressive. UNFORUNATELY, the was the ONLY Positive thing I took away from Hunter. Their Service department doesnt know the meaning of "Service", Sales Manager will run credit inquiries without your approval outside of the institutions they tell you and god for bid you take the vehicle in for service. I ran my annual credit check ONLY to find out I had 6, YES 6 Hard inquiries when I purchased my truck from HUNTER Dodge. Mind you, I was told they were going to run it through THEIR finance institution and not 5 others. THEN, I took it in for a diagnostics and was told I would get a loaner vehicle while they has the vehicle. NOPE, "Eh, sorry sir, but we will need you vehicle for up to 2 days and, well, you dont get a loaner vehicle." Let me get this straight... I buy a vehicle from you 10 months ago and it has 9,000 miles on it and bring it in for service that is obviously covered under the warranty and your response is "We cannot provide you a loaner vehicle while we keep your vehicle for 2 days"... SERIOUSLY? I eventually ended up getting a loaner car for 1 day with the understanding that my truck will be there for at least 1 day. I get a call the evening I drop it off saying its done and its ready for pickup. after I drive 45 minutes to the dealership, I am told I have to make ANOTHER appointment to have a diagnostics done. WHAT???? Isnt that why it was here in the first place and you gave me a loaner for?!?!?!?!?!? Tried to reschedule, but the scheduling manager was about as crotchety as you can get, so I left. After doing my research, I found Mojave Dodge, Chrysler, and Toyota in Barstow... YES BARSTOW! (BTW, they are MUCH better at taking care of you... the CUSTOMER) Thats how much dissatisfaction I have with HUNTER DODGE. Its sad when a customer resorts into driving 1.5 hours to a dealership to feel like a customer instead of a checkbook. The work ethics of Hunter Dodge needs to be readdressed through the Basic Scorecard Concept in Business Management!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH HUNTER DODGE!!!!

I absolutely hate this place!! I will never buy a dodge again just so i never have to come back here. I wish we had another option for Dodge in the AV FIRST when i went to buy a car i walked right into the show room and explained the specific dodge i wanted. They could care less. No one cared to check if the color i wanted was coming in. No one looked to try a dealer trade to get the car i wanted. The salesman said "they all the colors down below". Ok!! So i walked out and drove to Van Nuys who rolled out the red carpet for me SECOND My touchscreen on my radio went out at about 5k miles. No biggie. It happens. I go to my local dealership. Hunter Dips and they couldnt fit me in. I needed to make an appointment. Understandable.. So i make an appointment for a few days later @8am. Drop my car off at 8am they said they would need to make sure the touchscreen doesnt work before they replace it. Around 5pm that day ive heard nothing so i call. "Sorry sir we havent had a chance to see if your radio works." Ok!! Walk your happy ass outside and try to press a button. Then call me back in 2 mins. 10 mins later they call back "yup! Your radio doesnt work, well order you a new one" Thanks for keeping my car for a whole day for a 30 sec inspection. Picked up my car and they set me up for an appointment the next week on a Wednesday. THIRD. Big shocker i show up on Wed and the radio isnt in. Way too hard to call and tell me the radio isnt in. Dont waste your time coming in. FOURTH. Here we are a month later and the radio is in. Awesome. Ive had some time to cool off. Made my appointment and dropped my car off at 8am. Only to call at 4pm and find out the mechanic hasnt even touched my car. "We will get to it tomorrow though

I got the back of my truck spray liner done with Hunter Dodge and it was an absolutely horrible experience. My wife went to pick up our Ram 2500 trusting that they wouldnt have screwed it up and fixed it the first time. Not to mention that shes too short to look in the bed of the truck. When she brought it home I saw the huge crack and was obviously upset. She called them back and they acted like they didnt know until I told her to tell them that it looked like the machine stopped and that we would send pictures. Then they all of a sudden knew what we were talking about and told us that the machine malfunctioned, creating the crack. So they sprayed it twice, which obviously did not fix the problem. We told them we were not happy with it and then they told us to set up an appointment to fix it. So we set an appointment for two weeks later, called a second time to verify they could fix the problem that day since we live an hour away in Tehachapi. We dropped it off yesterday and they said that we would have to come back because they werent able to fix it today. When we told them we cant just stop in so easily because we live far away, the manager said they didnt have the tools to fix the liner. We then wanted to know why they couldnt have told us before driving an hour to get there or told us or during the two times we spoke on the phone. He said they didnt know what they were going to have to do. Huh??? To me this is not acceptable! They have just lost my business. I have bought six vehicles from them in 13 years, 3 Trucks, 2 cars, 1 SUV. This is also not the first time that I have received poor service from there service department, but it will be my last after they finally fix their mistake.

i want to give a big shout out to Hunter Dodge, i am new to the area and dont know anyone or anyplace to get a truck worked on. took my truck to them knowing its gonna be more expensive seeing its at the "Dodge house ". well.what an experience i had, Robert, manny and sweet lil Lilly mad me feel like i was family. I pulled up to dealership, walked into service dept.and talked to Manny, which by the way he was very nice and had all the answers to my questions.. we walked out to look at my truck and said he needed his shop supervisor to look at my truck seeing to was over 10 yrs old with over 100k miles, company policy. i explained to him , robert shop supervisor what was wrong, oil leak somewhere underneath and i do need an oil change. well within tha amount of time it took me to tell.him, he said well your leak is fixed, i said what , he said i found it, just needs to be tightened up, oil change, filter, air filter and we should have you out of here within 2 to 3 hours. i was like really and he said yes your CL3 plug is loose and we will get the oil change and multi point inspection done. Miss lilly had my paperwork writtin up and in my hands to sign in minimal time with a big smile on her face cause she knew i was worried about the situation and they were going to fix me right up.. They all made me feel as i were family, very very professional people, this is a 5 STAR dealership and i will be bringing my truck back to them for every oil change, and any lil or major maintenance that might occur. Again, thank you Hunter Dodge for making me feel at home, Happy Holidays to all of you there, may god bless you all!! one new to the area Happy camper right here!
