STAY AWAY! The sales dept and Will in accessories are great. Beyond that there is no service whatsoever. They do not check/set tire pressures and air ride during service as stated in the service procedures. They often returned my bike low on oil and transmission fluid after they serviced it. Once I stated that I had a bearing noise in the front they said all was fine but I drove straight to Waugh and they diag and replaced not only the wheel bearing but found a warped rotor and replaced it as well. They also topped off the fluids that Richmond HD left low. In May 2013 I noticed a split in the sidewall of my front tire (My Road Glide was 7 months old) Richmond HD said they could get me in the second week of June. Waugh got me in the next day and warrantied the tire in time for me to make Myrtle Beach Bike Week. When I returned from Myrtle Beach it was time for service and somehow now Richmond HD could schedule my service 3 days later (a full 2 weeks before what they had told me when I had a tire issue). My bike is less than 2 years old and my handgrips are so fouled up I cannot ride 5 miles without black crap getting all over my hands and they refuse to warranty them. I would think that when a person buys 2 bikes from the same dealer in 4 months they would value that customer but not these fools. I spent almost $2000.00 in performance upgrades on my wide glide when I bought it. When done it had a mere 77 HP and 78 FTLB of torque. I took it to Departure Bikeworks they re-tuned it and magically I had 100 FTLB of torque and 98 HP no parts added and that only cost me $80.00 I plan on spending about $1000.00 on my wide glide this month but Richmond HD will not see a dime of it. I bought the lifetime service contract but it is worthless when they do not provide the complete service. DO NOT LET THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT TOUCH YOUR MOTORCYCLE!

I brought my bike into the shop without an appointment as my inspection sticker had expired 2 months ago (in June).David was very helpful in getting the bike inspected. I asked him if he could tell me the last time I had the oil changed. He went into the records and gave me the date. It had been longer than I thought (not riding the bike often as it is for sale). Now this was a Saturday with an event going on at the dealership. David was able to get the inspection plus the oil change down before the shop closed. Great customer service!!"

Went shopping there today, staff was rude and bikes were priced WAY higher than same models at different locations. Not to mention they have a limited selection for such a big building. If you want a new bike dont waste your time here, go to Waugh in Orange,VA or East Coast Harley in Quantico,Va. Both of those places were cheaper, more to choose from and staff is extremely helpful at both of these locations. I will never step foot in here again, even for a t shirt.

Be careful when trying to visit this location. Your GPS navigation may try to tell you that youve arrived there while you are on interstate 95 southbound. However you cannot enter the store directly from 95. You need to go to the Lewistown rd exit. Basically just travel to the huge RV store. When entering the RV store stay to your left and pass the little guard shack. Then stay on this road for about a minute. Harley-Davidson will be on your right.

I have purchased a total of three (3) new motorcycles from Richmond HD and have all of them serviced at Richmond. I have purchased a boat load of accessories from Richmond and had the service department install them. I have never experienced a problem with the service department or anyone else at Richmond HD. They are super people to work with. I strongly recommend them. Will in sales, Dave in parts, Angel and Mirnda in service are the tops.

I broke down coming from NY heading to NC. I got a tow in, when we backed in I met at the door, took the bike right in and asked what was wrong and was I passing through. The got right on the bike, found the problem but had to overnight the parts. They give me a ride to a hotel and picked me up the next day. They stayed till after 8pm to get me back on my way. Great people to do business with. Thanks again for all your help!

On March 8, 2016 on my way from Florida to New Jersey my 2012 HD CVO broke down on RT 95 just north of Richmond VA. The next day I was towed to Richmond HD and Chuck got one of his techs right on my bike. They got me back on the road that night. They stayed one hour late and charged me a very fair rate. They were awesome and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great people to service their Harley.

Terrible service in their "Service Department." Dealt with Angel and I caught an extra $200 dollars in fraudulent charges (what a joke). They messed up the repairs and tried to blame it on me. When I tried to tell Angel and the Service Tech what the problem was they were rude and dismissive. Stay Away from this place. Its horrible. I recommend going anywhere else.

I can only rate on my limited experience with them. I didnt buy my bike from them nor have I had their service dept. work on it. The place seemed clean and well organized making finding what youre looking for a breeze. The markup on merchandise is high. But, the bike nights and rides are great. Id like to see a better turn out though.

Went to do a 10k. Awesome mechanics, extremely patient, completely friendly, and simply are just great people, the people on the floor outgoing and friendly, I enjoyed everything about the place. This is an awesome shop and i will be going back without question. You cant go wrong and they make you feel like you should be there.
