Autumn Higgins

I adore this market. Variety and stock is plentiful. Pricing is incredibly fair considering the closest equivalent rival market I have found is near Columbia, SC. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The only issue I have encountered is that the hours are not always predictable (due to few staff and family responsibilities). So if you decide to make the trip (I live 40 minutes away), call ahead and make sure someone will be there; it is worth planning your trip.

I recently visited this market with my wife, as it is the only Asian market weve seen in 50 miles. From the outside it looks tiny, but in that little space they managed to cram in hundreds of different items! From Taro to Tamarine they have all your Asian cooking needs! I grew up in New York and this place has most of the things youd find in a market in China Town! You can consider me a customer for life!

Loved that I found my pumpkin, was the only one though and I had to buy the whole pumpkin. Ill visit again for the pumpkin didnt see much other stuff that I would want. Good customer service as well.

The overall experience is good except that very bad experience with an employee called Alice. She was not happy working there (quote from her own words). Yet she vented her anger to the customers.

Awesome place for hard to find Asian spices and unusual food. If you like authentic Chinese, Thai or Korean food, this is the place to go. Soy sauce by the gallon, awesome!
