Everyone is so friendly and helpful! They always have what I need, (and, usually, a ton of other things that I really dont "need", but I get for my fur-babies, anyway.) I love that they stock, almost exclusively, organic/holistic/natural foods and treats; I love the variety they provide in their toy selection, training options, and home supplies. The free PET PERKS Membership saves me TONS of money! One of the best things about THIS Petco, in particular, is their partnership with an incredible local animal rescue organization, Maranatha Farms. On a semi-regular basis, on Sunday mornings thru early afternoon, Maranatha Farms brings about dozen of their adoptable dogs either inside the store or set up in the Petco Parking Lot, (I know that they rescue cats, too, but I dont think that they bring them to Petco.) I, personally, adopted an absolutely amazing, 7-year old Beagle from them, and I have never in my life had such a wonderful companion! In addition, Petco gave me a HUGE Coupon Booklet for adopting a rescue dog, and a second more recently when I adopted another dog from NC; they took me at my word! It was really wonderful to feel that kind of trust in todays world! My only wish is that this store would increase the size of its cat department. Basically: GREAT STORE! I used to only shop at Petsmart, now its reversed!!

I went to petco last night. While I was there looking around, I went over to see the fish secetion. When I was looking at the fish, I noticed they had a few oscars. As I own two full grown Oscar, I know a good amount about how to take care of them. Well, I noticed these Oscars in their tanks were starvin, and extremely unhealthy. My husband told me to go find some food and feed these poor fish. So I went and discussed my concern with the manager and all he had to say was, "we switched the water recently, and they are not adapting well." That is pure bullshit. I will NEVER buy another fish from this location ever again. Absolutely ridiculous. I could not be more disappointed & heart broken. Those poor fish, imagine their other animals..

Yesterday I went to Petco to look for some bird supplies. Typically I choose to go elsewhere to shop because the store employees here have a general air of indifference. This time was no exception. Once again, the people attempted to locate the bird cage liners I was seeking, but in the process did not seem the least bit cheerful. Our experience with this particular store seems to be that the employees would prefer to be anywhere but there. They act like they hate their jobs. Im beginning to think this may be a management issue because it has been going on for quite some time.

I shop here mainly because they are the most convenient place near me for marine and coral aquarium supplies. Their customer service is the main issue, along with the fact that the employees in the aquatics section seem to be a little less informed on the basics of fish and marine care than Id like. However, I have and continue to buy fish there with no issues as of yet. As long as proper acclimation and quarantine measures are taken its fine. I will continue to shop here until a better alternative comes along.

I wish I could remember the name of the man who assisted me, but wow, his customer service was AMAZING! I had some crazy requests but he was so willing to help. Im also glad that, unlike PetSmart, they actually understand that some reptiles prefer and thrive on living food. We get really great coupons at the cash register, and the store is clean and well stocked. Love this place!

A very typical Petco in a very busy shopping plaza with a Best Buy and Home Depot. The store is spacious and store staff is friendly and helpful.
