PETSMART is associated with Banfields so read on if you wish: The pet plan is a nightmare. The receptionist told me one price when I checked my dog in at 7am and when i went to pick up my dog, 10 hours later, I waited 20 minutes to see the Vet. She told me my dog had an ear infection and it would be 30 minutes and i could go. I didnt have the time... ... This waiting to wait some more has happened 2 times when my pet has been there all day. I go to pay "out of pocket" for my services and was told $72 + tax (during check-in). When i get there the Vet said no its going to be $440 because the stay was not covered along with blah blah. "you should remain on the pet plan". With a person waiting behind me I figured I would be polite and not cause a scene and make this other Pet Owner wait and take it up with Customer Service. Just got off the phone with customer service who essentially told me I was "Out of Luck". Not cool Banfield. I feel I was tricked (Bait and switch tactic) into renewing my contract. Funny thing is I was warned by one of my Customers (Vet in St. Paul) who i have worked with for 4 years. He said "be careful of the pet plan, it sounds good but lots of people end up getting promised one thing and they end up getting another." I honestly thought "How could a large company affiliated with PetSmart do such a thing. 1 year later I have learned my lesson. Go to a local vet or at least not Banfield your pet wont have to endure 10+ hours in a box all day and the owner will have some extra cash for.... Youve been Warned. I went here once to the groomers to get my dog groomed. I mentioned that she does have hip problems and yelps and sit when near her back end. They proceeded and said that she has trouble standing up when groomed. So i took her and left. I just got back from the store (she accompied me today) she hesitated going in. Once in the door she coward near the groomers we tried on some harness (no large would fit) went throug the toy section. She would whine every now and then( shes been potty and this is not normal for her) finally got help locating a slow feeder and some treats. At check out she seemed stressed( groomer right there). We had to return an item due to mis labeling and when we tried running my card wouldnt go through. The very friendly cashier was very apologetic and asked for the manager. Now my bill is only 40 dollars and i have well over enough money on my card. When the manager on duty came he walked right past me and to a customer that just walked it. I was really ticked at this time and my dog so stressed (excessive panting not sitting and constant whinning) i cancelled my order and left. I felt so disrespect by the manager and wish he understand that when people check out they are ready to go. I will not be back at this location again and i dont care if its within my routes for daily errands. Im just gunna go to a differnt one. I dont know what they have done to my dog at the groomers but they clearly didnt take care of her. I believe this store needs to go through some house cleaning.

Stupid policies that waste your time. I went for the first time to get my therapy dogs nails trimmed. Brought my clients with developmental disabilities with me who have limited mobility. We get inside, I tell them I have never been there before, and the woman makes me give her my name and number, how old my dog is, how to spell her name how to spell my name, etc etc. Then when all of that is done asks me for proof of her rabies shot. I showed her the tag on her collar and she says that isnt sufficient because it doesnt have her name on it and they wont be able to cut her nails because they cant verify the shots with a vet on Sat because vets are closed. So we stood there for ten minutes only to be told no even though my 15 pound therapy dog clearly doesnt have rabies.

DANGER 75 lb dog for grooming to thin coat and nails. Advise groomer dog is older but in good condition. Two hour grooming. Park close to door. Dog excited to leave. Little limp thought maybe nail cut short. 20 minute drive. Home dog cannot get out of car or make it up two steps to get in car. Second review in have written believe necessary to prevent harm to other animals. I am 74, dogs my entire life. Dog groomed couple of times each year. Normal groomer no longer available at other company. Dog that is 14 and never had problems with anyone or any other animal or person. Found blind rabbit tame rabbit and just smelled it and walked away.

This is probably the worst petsmart Ive ever been to. They are not helpful in the slightest. In fact, I stood by the cricket enclosure for 10 minutes waiting for help, while four employees stood around talking about personal BS. The guy at the register paged the person multiple times with no response. This is not the first time this has happened. Its been getting worse over the last year. I can honestly say I never want to go to this location again. Go somewhere else if you actually want any help.

Horrible experience!!!! I will never go back to Petsmart groomers! I understand that most people dont like working on a Sunday but if thats your job suck it up, put a smile on your face & dont be rude to the customer when they make a simple request. Not only rude to me but witnessed them annoyed by a dog that was obviously distressed. If they acted like that with me there cant imagine how they treat difficult dogs when they take them in back!!!

I have been taking my dog here for a year getting her nails trimmed, never had a problem until today. They clipped my dogs nail too short on one paw and didnt completely get the bleeding stopped. They never mentioned any problems and I didnt notice until the blood was on my car seat and clothes. I did get an apology. Just be aware

Would have been great to know that the grooming dept closes 2 hours early on week nights before I drove all the way there for a quick nail trim. Should be posted on their Google listing.

Its close to home and they have the food that I feed my cats. They have gotten a little better at offering sales, but I would like a better loyalty program.
