I recently purchased my 4th Subaru Outback from Riley Subaru. That in itself should tell you what I think of the dealership and customer service that I receive from them. Rileys is a first class dealership that has always treated me very well over the years. The customer service that you receive is outstanding, and you will never be treated like just another number. They take the time to make sure that everything is to your satisfaction and follow up to make sure that you are satisfied with everything from purchasing a vehicle to having any type of work done. This was my first time dealing with Ben Oberfoell as my salesman. I cant say enough about how well he treated me. He always took the time to answer any questions that I had, and never made me feel that I was bothering him when I would call with a question or concern. When my car came in he took the time to go over every feature of it and made sure that I understood everything about the car. Would highly recommend him. Ben has been a great addition to the Riley team, and I look forward to working with him in the future.

Im talking about the folks at Riley Subaru in Dubuque, Ia. Our special thanks goes out to John Krow, their finance manager, who went well beyond anybody weve ever worked with at any dealership. John, with a good lienteing ear, worked with us to make things possible within our budget. Their service managers have been great as well! Those guys are professionals and that you wont find in most dealerships! I strongly recommend you get over there if you are looking for a Subaru or thinking about trying one for the first time! Denny was GREAT!! Knew I wanted the new Subaru Crosstrek special edition. He found out information for me and keep me updated on the car pricing. Jim Riley, owner, worked with me so I got the right price that he and I could agree to. Thanks Jim! After that Denny finish the transaction .Denny keep me update on where my car was and when he thought it would arrive at the dealership. When my car arrived Denny got everything setup so all we had to do was the paperwork. Denny was very friendly and knowledgeable. John Krow had all the paperwork ready for my husband and me. Husband sign paperwork on his lunch break and I got the car I wanted. I would recommend Denny and the rest of the Riley Staff. Thanks you for all your help!!!

I have a newer WRX and like to get all my service at the at Subaru dealership. I have always had good luck in the past at other locations but this Dubuque location has something to be desired. I payed 3 times as much for synthetic oil which Subaru rates at 7500 miles. I noticed a 3000 mile sticker in my window and asked the shop manager why it was only 3000 thinking they may have messed up and used non-synthetic oil. He told me, "We personally recommend changing the oil every 3000 miles even with the synthetic." I could understand 5000 miles but 3000, really come on guys. Quit gouging your local customers. Very unprofessional and I hope Subaru corporate steps in to bring some honesty to this operation.

I am very grateful to the folks at Subaru in Dubuque for their concern and super quick service they provided for me. I had driven to Dubuque from Colorado for my brothers funeral and was dismayed when my Crosstrek had trouble. A tire had a slow leak. After calling, I took my car in and explained my situation. The tire was punctured beyond repair so a new tire was immediately ordered and it arrived the next morning. After a half hour to mount the tire, I was on my way home. (This is a busy repair shop and yet the staff found time for me.) The best part is that the service folks looked up my record and found I had insurance. That $211 tire cost me only $25. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

Ben worked with us over 2 months. We never felt pressured to buy. Ben answered all of our questions during each of our numerous visits. When we did buy, Ben showed us in detail all of the controls and levers. He even paired up our phone and garage door opener. Ben explained the many safety features built into the vehicle and even showed us where the roof rack rails were stored. The buying experience was a pleasure. Thanks Ben ! ! On our last visit while Ben was working with another customer, Roger Rollinger saw that we were waiting and asked to see the car we were buying. He also showed us how some of the controls worked. Thanks Roger ! !

Service department is terrible - warranty work took two long attempts to correct a catastrophic failure (wiring harness defect that made engine inoperable) that left us stranded three times. Personnel returned our clean and newish car dirty and with the interior scuffed with shoe marks and streaks. Eric and one of the manager/owners finally got things going but only after being left out to dry and making a fuss ....and a follow on report was promised but never delivered. I have about as much faith in Subaru right now as I did years ago when I decided to never, ever buy a Chevy again. Stear clear of these guys. Go Toyota or Ford!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. In September of last year I called explaining that being a student my budget was very low. They offered me a vehicle at a supposed reduced price and boasted about the deal. What they failed to tell me was the model 2001 Corolla they were selling me had a defect in the engine. This is a very wide known defect and the people here would have had the information. While the car runs, it burns oil significantly due to the defect and cannot be fixed. Riley is just another car dealership concerned more with money than they are helping people.

Ben was able to answer every question and provide valuable information that enabled me to make a buying decision I am happy with. We explored numerous options in order to get me exactly what I wanted in a vehicle. Each of the individuals I dealt with was personable and helpful. I never felt pressured to make a quick decision. In addition to getting a fair deal, I am confident the service department will take care of my vehicle needs as time goes on. Im very happy with the entire buying process and want to thank Ben and the others for a pleasant experience.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience when I went to Rileys. Greg Johnson was my salesperson, and he was easily the most knowledgeable person I have ever dealt with when purchasing a car. He was able to tell me the ins and outs of every model we looked at, complete with the cars history. Everything from mileage, who owned it and how they drove it, how often it was serviced at the dealership, etc. In the end I drove home with a Legacy at a great price, and the car has been nothing but amazing. Thank you, Greg! And thank you Rileys Subaru!
