Never ever will I use this store again. My sales person (R Wise) was very rude to me after my purchase. When it came time for delivery my box spring wouldnt fit upstairs, so I had to exchange it for a split foundation. I tried to call my sales person he would never answer his pages or emails. So I finally went inside to talk to him. He was helping a customer on the phone and while waiting he spoke to me granddaughter whom I had with me. So he saw me. He walked away, went to the service desk, then through a double door and never came back out. I had him paged twice. I waited 20 minutes. So I was charged extra for something and to top it off my payment schedule with the leasing office is messed up. I get phone calls every two weeks when it was supposed to be set up for monthly payment. He entered information incorrectly. I tried to get cooperation with them and they are messy as well. Just an all around bad experience. Ill never shop there again. Outs sad because I loved their furniture and my friend and I got several pieces from them. This was just my first big purchase. And my last.

I dont like the way the sales people try to persuade you into purchasing before even asking what your price range is. If you do the no credit check they want you to get preapproved by giving up your bank information before you even start to look. I was very turned off because they are more interested in making a sale instead of serving the customers. I didnt like how the lady told me I needed to be approved I know how much I want to spend , they try to set you up with the most expensive items so that youll be paying on it forever and then they will tack on ridiculous interest. This place sucks . Alberts furniture is better. At least Ill be able to take the merchandise pay monthly and be satisfied and not go in debt.SHAME ON ART VAN .

I bought a couch from here during their tent sale, I was told they couldnt hold it for me for over 2 days so I had them send it to the Novi location so I could pick it up from there. When I got there to pick up my couch it was not at the store. The southfield location hadnt sent the couch in time. I was furious, I had rented a moving van. I spoke with the manager and was told that he would have the couch delivered for free, but it would take another week. When the couch finally came it was broken!!!!!!! The original couch was only $400 and now that the tent sale is over they dont have anything for that price so I will have to spend an extra $200 on a couch thanks to them. Art Van is the worst!!!! Go somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! This is the worst furniture store Ive EVER dealt with. The level of customer service here is shameful. It took them 6 weeks to deliver a mattress and 8 weeks to deliver a bed. No one ever called to let me know the furniture was in and no one could explain why they didnt call and why it took so long. The people here are ignorant! The service is terrible! Their policies are terrible! Even their corporate office couldnt answer my questions! Im so aggravated and disgusted! DONT EVER SHOP HERE!

My sales person Marvin always make it a good experience when I buy furniture. I always know what I am paying for and I feel comfortable knowing that he is knowledgeable in the merchandise. He is not pushy but does inform me of other products like leather protection or extended warranty for the furniture. He even told me about some decorative pieces that would match my furniture. I feel confident that I will receive great furniture at a great price. Im glad to have him as my sales person.

After being referred to the store manager, Mr. Eddie my previous perception of Art Van was altered. Him and Art Vans Home Furniture Consultant Mr. Justin J made sure that I left there with Nothing Less than a smile and deal that anyone could appreciate. I honestly suggest that if you purchase furniture from this particular Art Van the people to ask for are those two guys. They seem to jump through hoops to keep their customers satisfied and comfortable. Especially Mr. Justin J.

I placed and paid for two chairs. They were supposed to arrive within 6-8 weeks. Three months later they did not have an update on the order. No effort was made to determine the current status of the order. No effort was made to keep my business. I will not be returning to Art Van. I recommend to choose a different retailer and to stay away, unless you enjoy loaning businesses, following up on their orders, and wasting your time.

Pros: The prices are a little steep at first but thats the great thing about furniture stores (bartering). Everytime Ive gone in Ive always left with a good price. They have a great selection. Cons: The salesman follow and hound you all the time! Pauls TV is overpriced and outdated. The TV salesman tried to sell me a floor TV with dead pixels and claimed it as a bad cable.

Worked with Tequila, she was amazing and a great saleswoman. But unfortunately the couch they sold me had bugs in it. I killed 3-4 of them within a month and called them to report the problem and would not do anything about it. My apartment is brand new and I waited a month for it to be remodeled and ready, so I wouldnt imagine that there would be bugs. Very rude in service.

If it was not for Mrs Ozella at this location I would never shop here. The customer service of the male associates that size you up as you walk in is ridiculous. I will be purchasing again but I will give other stores a good review and opportunity for my purchase.
