I recently moved from California (Los Angeles), a Mecca of fashion and multiple Lululemon stores within a 10 mile radius of each other. At every store in Los Angeles that I have been to (Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Brentwood and El Segundo), I was greeted with a smile from all the employees and immediately felt welcomed and helped. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT the case at the Troy Somerset store. When I walked in at the Somerset store, no one said hello or welcomed me to the store, and no, they werent busy. I spend a lot of money at Lululemon as I am a Pilates instructor and doctor of physical therapy. I fully embrace the companys mantras and try to live by them daily, but I am highly disappointed by the staff that has been chosen to work at Somerset. I am now working in the Birmingham area and have heard the same complaint from the majority of my clients. Hopefully these reviews are read by someone who can make a difference because Lulu is losing business at this store (100% based upon their staff).

The new store in Birmingham is lovely, with a very helpful staff (when you are buying). It was my first visit/purchase from lulu lemon. I bought a pair Wunder Under crop pants for my yoga class. Bad news is... after 4 wearings, they are developing 2 rip holes on the left thigh area, which is NOT great for a $72 pair of exercise pants! I called the store and was told that it sounds like it is NOT a manufacturers defect, and I must have ripped them myself, so they are not under warranty. They said warrantied items are only for rips "on" the seam. Very bummed about this, and very disappointed with my first experience. Love the pants, but am displeased about the quality and the customer service (when you have a problem).

Worst customer service. Brought back abc pants for exchange because received the wrong size over Christmas as a gift. Sales associate Marvan was extremely rude, talking in a condescending tone of voice, smirking, waiving his hands as if I was inadequate to understand...apparently they wouldnt exchange a size because that color went on sale within the last 2 weeks. Will never shop at this location, go to Birmingham where theyre actually nice. This guy was the worst choice to represent this brand and store.

I went in looking for a hoodie that was not in stock at their 12 oaks store. Not only could did they not have it in stock in their store, but they also couldnt be bothered to order it for me or get it from another store. The worst customer experience Ive experienced in a long time. Its a shame because I genuinely think the quality of their product is good, but Im not sure I can bring it in me to go back:

Terrible customer service. My worn once leggings ripped at the seam. I took them in, they gave me an exact date and time to pick them up. I drove an hour that day to pick them up and the guy told me that they hadnt been registered so they arent fixed and to come back another time! Wont even pick up their phones when I call to see if they are finished. Will not be going back to this location.

The staff was extremely RUDE. This was my first purchase at Lululemon, and will be my last. I went into the store to pick up my pants from being altered and the lady did not even welcome me. She just stood there with her hand out. It was the same experience when I had purchased them. I will not be back.

Great clothing (obviously) but the people that work here are something else! The girls here dont ever know what there doing except for like 3 of them the rest just give attitude and be rude for no reason at all! I should be treated with respect and because Im spending a ton of money at this place.
