My wife and I purchased a top of the line Simmons mattress from Mattress King (approx $3,000). Unfortunetely the mattress was delivered with a defect and uncomfortable from day one. Just a few days after delivery we knew we had a real problem and called Mattress King. From that point forward dealing with Mattress King was an absolute nightmare -- they simply did not care that they sold me a defective product. I went to the store to explain the problem and instead of handling it quickly and effeciently they explained I had to go through their "process" which began with mailing me a warranty packet (from Auburn Hills). One week later that arrived in my mailbox. (Did I mention the bed was uncomfortable?) In the packet I had to fill forms and attach pictures proving the defect. After mailing in the packet two more weeks went by with no word from Mattress King. Finally they called to tell me the claim was approved but they did not have my mattress in stock so they would have to order a replacement -- AND that I would have to pay a delivery fee. I am sure the store is fine if you dont have the misfortune of getting defective mattress. If you do they are a nightmare. I will never do business with them again.

Thank you so much to Bob from Mattress King Lake Orion. I called ahead after unsuccessful experiences at other big name stores in the area. I had my 1 and 2 year old in the truck with me. I told him exactly what I wanted and that I was a few minutes away. He did not try to upsell me or use tactics the other stores I visited used with me. He knew what I wanted and that I needed it fast. He promptly met me at the door so I didnt have to take my babies out of my vehicle and loaded my new mattress in the truck. First class service. Nice work Mattress King, we will be back for our future mattress needs.
