We have been buying from them for awhile, my son too. Very disppointed in the customer service my husband received. They match price, tells them he has a cheaper price at a competitors. Husband has an email from the competitor. My husband ask would you like the email, employee so no, just read it to me. The discount tire employee calls the competitor and they say that they did not price those tires for that. Only 100.00 difference in competitor and discount tire, I believe. So he calls my husband and tells him that the competitor said that they didnt price that to my husband. Note, my husband has the email no one area to see. But, we will call and check up on it. My husband then says, so you are telling me I am a liar..... ! Pretty much end of story. Took his business elsewhere, paid a little more, but to him worth it. I have one done 3 or 4 reviews ever, but this one was a little frustrating. But the manager did the right thing, offered a great deal to my husband, but for my husband it just wasnt going to work out! I hate it ended this way, not sure if this is how they work with the price match, but may need some work.

Here now I was quoted a 45 minute wait an hour went by my car wasnt pulled back. I asked a dales associate how much longer will it be the guy from the outside said mam your next. Michael then came up to explain to me why the time was delayed. He asked me to go to the counter to check out, the phone begin to ring behind the counter is the MANAGERS ALEX AND NICK! Instead of them answering the phone Michael asks if he could. Im like sure I couldnt be rude. My only question is why couldnt they? The whole time I was there the managers never answered the phone all morning youd hear Michael or Brian ask a customer do you mind if I put you on hold. I couldnt believe it. Then Nick ask one of outside guys can I grab you for a second but then say I know your busy itll only take a second. Why couldnt it wait till the rush slowed down. Terrible experience at this store didnt appreciate the misquoted wait times! The managers act like hawks I didnt see one customer interaction all they did was micromanage the employees! !!!

I managed to run over not one, but TWO screws (I blame subdivision construction, ugh) so I decided to come here after seeing positive reviews on all of the Nashville locations. Maybe Im too used to going to the DMV or emissions testing center, because I was expecting a line running down the street as I pulled in at 10 til 8 AM on a Saturday. To my delight, the place wasnt busy; in fact, the employees were already accepting customers! I was served quickly and handed off my keys after a few questions, and made my way towards the immaculate waiting room. Well-lit, and stocked with complimentary water bottles and Keurig coffee cups at-the-ready, it was a welcome respite from your typical automotive center waiting room. Within 20 minutes, both of my tires were plugged--absolutely free of charge. I was thrilled with the kindness of all of the employees, the cleanliness and organization of the waiting room, and the prompt service. Lovely, lovely place. I am so thankful!

They are a very friendly store but have a discriminatory hiring process. They would rather hire someone with no tattoos and little to no experience then someone with a visible tattoo and 10yrs experience. This man I speak of has been working on my vehicles for years, he is polite and a very hard worker but because of choices made when he was younger he is not good enough to work for them. Close minded people like this will not get my buisness. I have no tattoos but would rather someone who knows what they are doing and covered in tattoos work on my car then someone with no tattoos and no experience.

I used to only go to Discount Tire for my work to get done but after getting quoted $150-$175 just to flip all 4 tires to the other side (directional mount only) I had to check elsewhere to get it done. Ive never paid that much flipping my tires before and "tire discounters" got me in and out the door for $15 a tire so $60+ tax out the door! Maybe its just this Smyrna location cause I used to always go to the one off of Church St. in Murfreesboro and they always took great care of me and never remember getting charged that much to flip my tires. Thanks "Tire Discounters" for saving me atleast $100!!!

Got a full set of tires for my vehicle (hard to find 235/55R16 tires) 2 years ago now and have had them rotated and balanced free several times, as well as 2 punctures repaired. I thought the service was decent but didnt realize until today (after a visit to Tire Discounters down the road for an alignment) how good the service was. Got my tires for below MSRP w/road hazard.. Will sure as anything be back here before I ever set foot in Tire Discounters again. -1 star because the wait times can be fairly long but they are at least honest and up front about them every time Ive been there.

Discount Tire is the best around. I couldnt even get in the door as Sales Representative Xavier met me as I was getting out of my car. He examined my tires, which I had curbed the night before, and suggested I replace the right side tires. The whole thing was done in 15 minutes. The only problem I had was with my Wilson Bank card. Whether it was their side of the banks fault I am not sure, but they allowed me to leave my camera as collateral while I went to the bank in person. Overall a great experience. I will be returning again

The sales staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure that the tires I purchased were exactly what I needed. I was in and out in less than an hour. They are a tad more expensive (by a small margin) than some of the other tire stores in the area but the competent staff, friendly customer service, and quick turn around time was definitely worth the couple extra pennies. The free tire rotation and balance for the life of the tires will surely make up the extra pennies as well. Ill never buy tires anywhere else!

Ragnar The Red

This place was terrible. Extremely corporate, and not friendly. Do not listen to all of these five start reviews from their friends and family. This store tried to charge me $300 for the same tire that Tire World sold me for $125. Tire World is only like 3 miles away from them, as well. Tire discounters were very unwelcoming, and made me feel terrible for even asking for help. The girl at the counter acted like it inconvenienced her to help me. She didnt even try, just gave me her opinion. Will never go there again.

This is my go to tire shop. They are always helpful and extremely polite. You can tell that the employees get a lot of customer service training. I have purchased tires for 4 vehicles here and have never been disappointed. They even looked at a vehicle that I hadnt bought tires for from there when it had a flat for no charge. Of course, I bought the replacments there. Their prices are very competative. Dont be fooled by the name spoofing neighbor (Tire Discounters).
