My daughter and I chose Wal-Mart in Hendersonville to shop on Tanksgiving day to take advantage of their black Friday sales. We arrived at 3pm to get started. The sale items were easy to find because they were in the main walkways of the stores on skids etc. We watched people for a while getting the sale items from the various skids and piling in their carts. But, when we find the bicycles we were interested in for my daughters girls (my granddaughters) a Wal-Mart employee comes up to us and says, "You cant take any of the sale items until 6pm because that is when the sale starts". My question to her was, "Then why are people all around us filling their carts sky high with the various 6pm sale items?" She said, "I am only patrolling this area where you are with these bikes and my manager has only informed 2 of us to not allow items to be taken until 6pm. She told us if we were wanting the bikes, we would need to stand by them until 6. Meanwhile, people are in the store filling their carts. There wasnt any signage posted on any sale items that the merchandise couldnt be removed until 6. The signage said no items could be paid for until 6. Meanwhile, other employees are telling us if we want the bikes, we better get what we want or it will be gone at 6. So, my daughter and I start to load 2 bikes and of course the one lady employee comes up and tells us we cannot. I proceed to tell her it is very obvious that everybody in the store is getting their items and other employees are saying it is ok to get what we are wanting now. She gets a manager and goes over to him and I can hear her saying she has told us we cant get sale items until 6 and we are saying other people are filling their carts, but she hasnt seen anybody but us. The manager said dont let them have them until 6. So, my daughter and I went to Target and had a WONDERFUL experience there. The staff there were all very friendly and welcoming. It was very well managed. All of the employees were so nice. My daughter and I spent together over $1,000.00 in there together on all of our purchases. Some of the items were a little more than Wal-Mart, but I would rather pay more than to be treated the way we were treated at the "other store". I will be doing my shopping at Target from now on because good customer service is very important to me...

Run!!! This store hires idiots who cannot count let alone run a register. Stopped last might to pickup 1 dozen donuts. The person running the register rang up 1 instead of 1 dozen. Another cashier saw the mistake and stated " hey, if you go to customer service they will refund the charge and give you a gift certificate for making us aware of the mistake." I went to customer service and stated what the cashier said. The woman said "yes, she is correct." Then she proceeded to ring-up the 1 dozen donuts. To say the least, all customer service did was charge full price. When I asked "How did this save me anything? Where is the $5 gift card?" The response "Oh, we stopped doing that. We had too many cashier errors." Complete lying, imbeciles! Never had a problem with Wal-Mart until this one. Would rather drive to Madison or Gallatin Wal-Mart, CLEAN HOUSE ON THIS PLACE!!!

Ive had mixed experiences with Wal-Mart over years. Yes, they have a big store and a lot of good prices, and it is cheaper to eat in their deli than in a restaurant, but they have also discontinued items that I buy regularly and their employees are never around when I need help. When they are around, they are about as useful as a bag full of rocks. They cant tell me anything about the products I want to buy and are usually impatient and rude as if they have another place to be. You can shop as much as you want at Wal-mart, but dont expect good service or help from the employees.

We went to this Walmart because I wanted some roses to sprinkle the petals. We picked up a dozen lavender roses that were $9.89, they were in very bad shape and no-one would buy them. All I wanted was the petals so we took them to the customer service desk and asked if we could have a mark down. The clerk came back and said she could discount them by 10%. I started to laugh. $8.89 for dead roses. Walmart didnt make a sale and probably had to throw out those roses the next day, if not that night. How dumb was that?

Went this past week and bought a bunch of groceries. Come to find out, a good majority of the food we purchased was completely expired (some by more than a month). How did I find out? Ate a greek yogurt and found it to be sour. Went back and found out almost all of their greek yogurts were expired. Most unprofessional grocery business I have ever seen. Check your expiration dates before you buy anything here. I guess Ill pay more and continue going to Publix.

Pharmacy refused to sell me insulin syringes. Ive been buying them for 2 years at other Walmart Pharmacies with no problem. I am not diabetic but have 2 diabetic dogs. I had to prove my dogs were being treated for them to sell to me because addicts might buy them. Last I heard addicts got free syringes to prevent using dirty needles and spreading Hep C. Its their policy!!!! I left and went to Walmart in Madison and bought syringes with no bs.

As far as Wal-Mart goes, it still wreaks of corporate riches and sad, trapped employees. So, to the that standard, this is the best location Ive been to. I worked at Springfields for 2.5 years and it was very annoying. Hendersonville seems to be the store they send people to for learning, usually after a promotion. Store itself is stocked, clean, and actually doesnt have harsh lighting. Not bad

I was going to buy a tablet that I found on sale on their website. When I got to the store to purchase the tablet, I was told that the sale was from their Black Friday sale last week. Why would you not update your website to reflect the true price today. I wasted my time on that visit. I should have been able to get the tablet at the price that was still advertised as of 12-5-15.

I needed an oil change and I also needed to get some grocery shopping done. Normally I can wait if one takes longer than the other however I have a 1 year old and he tends to get a little impatient. They were able to get my car serviced and completed by the time we were done shopping, without an appointment. So thankful!!
