The Cafe is a god-send! I grew up enjoying BLT sandwiches and have missed them terribly since becoming vegan. Now I am in heaven having discovered this cafes BLTs! Their Philly "steak" sandwich is also scrumptious and worth a try. I like the idea that one can call ahead to place your cafe order and the cafe will substitute salad for chips. The cafe is staffed by college kids working part time positions. They work hard and keep the cafe clean, well-stocked, and tidy. If you prefer hot food try the hot bar. Food on the hot and cold bars is paid for by weight. The cafe has seating both inside and outside. The store annexed to the cafe is a great vegan grocery store. There is everything a vegan cook could want inside the store. Be aware that the cashiers are not vegans and are simply there to run the cash register. They are not the ones to got to for help. Instead find the stock boy. Life Cafe and Grocery located in the corner of a strip mall on Upper Roswell Road is well worth a visit. It is sure to become a staple in your grocery shopping and eating given enough time.

As someone who isnt a vegan or a raw foodie I can say this place is great. I go there once a week for lunch. I can always be sure what I get is fresh and healthy. The cafe is a bit unorthodox and can turn people off at first. Mainly now the only menu sits at the counter and you need to press the call button to get someone. Not rude, just different. The price isnt much different that a typical sit down lunch. Most people assume healthy food has to cost an arm and a leg. I had a friend stop there after he ate at Taco Mac. My Blonde Burger with added avocado, fries, a side of veggies was still cheaper than his "Cobb Salad" at Taco Mac.

This was a great lunch spot!! We had delicious soup & fresh juices, very nourishing & clean eating. The gal working, Monica, was wonderful. She completely understood great customer service & truly wanted to help. Im on a restricted diet due to a chronic health condition & she knew what was good for me to eat as well as what I couldnt have. Usually I have to list everything I cant have & hope the person was listening. Monica was listening & making recommendations!! I will definitely return next time Im in the area. The attached grocery store looked great too!! The only negative I saw was the décor could use some updating.

I am disappointed with my experience at Life Grocery. I have only shopped there once but by accident picked the wrong toothpaste (gel instead of paste) and when I went back without my receipt I was told I could not exchange it without a receipt. I understand a policy is a policy but I was not asking to return it just exchange it and because of how this policy made me feel I left with my empty bags in hand to shop elsewhere. In this case a reluctance to exchange an item cost them a possible lifetime customer as I did like the store up until then.

I love this coop health food, cafe and supplements store. Well stocked. Very knowledgeable and wonderful workers, most have been there for years. It feels more like a close family run place. Though the fresh produce is a fairly small selection, it is organic and always looks beautiful and very fresh. It is a local coop vs out of town conglomerate. This place is a gem. Very important to this community. I have been coming every week and am a Member. $5 per year to join which provides discounts(even on top of there sale prices !).

SO glad I gave this place a second chance after a truly horrible first experience. This time the staff were knowledgeable, attentive and approachable and the food was crazy good! It was the complete opposite on all fronts last time. I bought food from both sides and while I feel like I ate a lot, I dont feel weighed down at all and I have so much energy! The selection here is unique and worth going back to try more new and healthy foods from both the grocery and cafe.

Been there few times so far its not bad but always observing. My only concern is there Cha water since the water company in Tennessee is completely close. Tried to reach the distributer, but could not get a hold them. Tried calling the phone number shown in the gallon of water but no good. Make me curious about there water. Not sure if I want to continue to provide Cha water there business. Something just not right.

Its like a small whole foods. It has a very good supplements section considering the size of the store. Definitely the place to go if you need natural protein supplements.
