Initially I was thrilled to find this place. The owner is so confident and exuberant that you are led to believe she knows what she is talking about. Then I discovered she cant answer educated questions. When you try, she goes into a belligerant loop or tries to wriggle out of the question by changing subjects. . No matter what you do with your health, she will never give possitive feedback, it is all focused on what EXTREMELY overpriced product you should have bought from her instead. Like outrageously priced water and bottles of vitamin C with a tiny bit of calcium and a miniscule amoount of a yeast by product for 40.00 and more. She taks too fast to keep up and if you try to get her to slow down so you can take notes, she changes the subject so she cant be held accounable. This is classic con behavior. As the guy said, you are never allowed to browse, and I think that is because if you do you will see that every item is grossly over priced. She rips you up if you get supplements elsewhere (including your excellent doctor), because everyone else only sells garbage ( even if they sell the same brands). I took her regimine of supplements and got much sicker, because A, she doesnt know what she is talking about and B, Most of her products are the same tightly packed unabsorbable garbage she knocks other stores for carrying. People often shop in helath food stores because they are seriously ill. It is apalling when creeps with NO empathy ( just a phony "be blessed!" chirp as you leave) take advantage of them. Life Grocery across the street is honest, as is the lady up on 92 and Canton. There is nothing honest about this woman. Oh, and about that blood type diet...I read about it when it first hit the scene, and was espoused an interesting theory that people with the older blood types adapt more easily to a vegetaian diet. There may be some validity to that, but but greedy companies have turned it a scam that is based purely on profit, not scientific research. Its crazy to tell someone not to eat good healthy food because of their blood type. Everything this woman does is crazy - like a greedy fox. Shame on her. Does no one investigate these places?

The herbalist Native American lady at this herb shop needs to calm down with giving unsolicited information. Youre not the only person that has knowledge on natural health and healing etc. Stop giving information to customers that havent even asked a question and intervening into peoples conversation. You do this every time! I said that I wasnt going back because youre always on someones back waiting to throw some info out there when youre not even asked anything. People like to shop in peace for what they want, whether if its right for them, or not. Youre not the only person that knows about the blood type diet etc. If I wanna buy St. Johns Wort and my blood type is O, by God allow me. I bought the food, supplement and beverage book 7 years ago, heyyyy! Besides I may be shopping for someone else, duh! You get on my nerves! At Life Grocery, I can shop in peace! They ask you, do you need help, and if you dont, they leave you be.

I lived in Marietta Georgia for over 5 years. This woman worked with me sometimes daily. Why? Because the illness I have is called *Terminal*.. She helped me fight that term.. she made sure and tell me all the RULES the FDA and everyone else tell her to tell me..but she explained each and every herb in terms I could understand. I am still here and have since moved out of state, there is no Debbie here and I already miss her and her knowledge... If you want to meet a woman that has her soul intact and isnt thinking about the money she can make off of you.. go here... See Debbie and tell her Nicola sends her love :)

I have been in this store twice and both times I had the same impression of the lady/owner. She talks down to you and "barks" information at you at a super fast speed that you cant keep up with what she is saying. She is abrasive and insulting trying to guilt you into taking her products. Her return policy is very stringent. Her prices are not great. All in all, I wouldnt advise you go there unless you go in informed and refuse to speak to her throughout your shopping experience and checkout.

I have no idea who the person is that said that the owner talks down to you, but they couldnt be more than wrong. Deb and her son Ray know what they are talking about. They are good people that are well informed with the products they sell and they are always courteous as well as professional. I will be going back again and again.

One of my all time favorite places. Just came in with my 1-yr-old having a terrible case of teething induced diaper rash. I already had a game plan, but they helped me put on the finishing touches of digestive help. Few days later - diaper rash alleviated. Ive got at least a dozen experiences like this one at Marietta Health Foods.

So why would someone complain about getting to much information?! This lady is awesome and has helped me with so much and I dont know where I would be with out it! As far as the cost of water that is how much it costs everywhere. Complain to CHA water and not on her!!
